Question About Decals

Post by mccarthy1028 » Thu Sep 06, 2007 7:21 pm

I understand that Vedec or something like that makes 1:18 Decals... My question is where can I get them or how to get a hold of them and if you can make custom decal orders from this company...
It doesnt have to be this company in particular but i just heard this one first... Does anyone print there own decals at home using water slide paper...

BadCat offers a wide selection of Vexilarius's decals. You may also want to contact boardmember Jackson, as he's the guy working the magic behind making the decals

John's Stuff makes a selection of very nice decals for 1/18 aircraft and armor that are available through Good Stuff to Go (http://www.goodstufftogo.net).

I have done some custom decals for custom projects.

I have done Charlie Bonds P-40B #5, and the end result looks ten times better than 21st job.

Lair Quality

Post by Folkwulfe » Fri Sep 07, 2007 10:43 am

If you'd like to see exactly how good (boy is THAT and understatement!!) Lair is making custom decals, check out the "Mods and Customs" area and look for the F-86F-30-NA Fighter-Bomber pictures. The markings are all South African Air Force....All done by Lair. I can't say enough about how accurate and remarkable they are even up close.

Yes they do look fantastic, and I find it remarkable how closely the model matches the pic of the real thing.

Funny, I too need a custom decal made here recently. I want one to cover Eaglestons name on my 1:18 P-47 "Eileen" canopy. That name shouldn't be there :P
