Do you collect figures and look for vehicles to put them in...or do you collect vehicles and don't care about figures?? I come from aircraft scale modeling so missing figures don't bother me a bit. Some of you can honestly say that you would not have bought any of these 1/18 aircraft/armor if they d...

I would think at this point in the war the germans might have a tough time finding/using air guns to paint and just used brushes/rollers/rags etc. A hard-edged scheme would definately have more camo power in an urban setting also. Times were really tough on those guys after the war. Some of my uncle...

...but they dont' tell the manufacturer NOT to adjust cases... That's simply not true. WM tells us how big a carton they want for the shelf, also how many cartons per case and also pallet height!! WM wants to avoid the cost of having to open 4 different cases to get an assortment on the shelves so ...

I might agree with you but WM generally tells a vendor what they want and how they want it.

Wal-Mart definately killed 21C.

Yes it is all relative. Early in the year a CD=$1.31USD now I think it's about $0.90. The Euro has been kicking our butts for the past ten years.

I don't know if I would say USPS is the "best" option (maybe cheapest), especially with some of our models worth hundreds of USD!!!

the US dollar only very recently (i'm talking in the last 6 weeks, has been weakening. While I highly dispute your version of gas execs setting prices you should know that inflation is going to skyrocket as more of this Government spending gets into our economy. When gas was "cheap' I didn't see an...

I'll just have to sell one of my old F-16's and that will pay for the F-14!! :D To me Admiral is just a lot of hot air and any more talk from them about Mosquito's or F-4s or Dauntlesses or Sopwith Camels does not amount to anything. Showing what looks like the Tamiya Mosquito as some sort of refere...

This is all a lot of hot air until we actually see something new from Admiral.

While I also have much respect for PH, a forum such as this is not the best place to air greivances such as this. PH feels he has been wronged but there are always two sides to a story. All we have starting up here is some sort of "Mob" mentality. Maybe one post about this, but constantly upping the...

Don't worry Snake, reminds me of the old Seinfeld quote; Maybe if you had worked a bit harder... :D

There is a bit to much of this "class warfare" going on in this country right now.

Interesting thread.

It's really all relative...what is it worth to YOU?? I wouldn't pay over $40 for a 1/18th P-51 but I MIGHT pay $500 for a Macchi MC202!!

I did pay $350 to fly an hour in a B-24 with my buddies but at least I could write it off my taxes!! ( That was probably the best $$ spent)

Not a single wholesaler or retailer, including Walmart and Toys “R” Us will sign a guaranteed purchase order or pay for the production up front I don't think I would sign a guaranteed purchase order either and I love these models!! You probably have to do something like the Wargame industry has done; set a break-even goal of pre-orders and only then move to production (1000 preorders??). I realize this may be a bit more tricky and don't know lead times or how long it takes to get a model from design to a customer's hands. Anot...

it's funny because when i heard they were making the 190D i was delighted. It'a one of my favourite planes and i didn't think i had a snowball's chance of ever seeing it in 1/18. I figured a 190A was a no brainer obvious choice and would be made shortly thereafter. I'm still waiting.. It is one of ...

the KT paint scheme 21C planned to release should have had zimmermet to be accurate This is just the attitude that killed our hobby.
