Re: No 8 Models: German Bomb Dolly, first paint shots.

Are you making a bomb for with it? Yes, although you'll have to add weight to the nose so that it will balance on the loading arm Jay, What is the current status of the WGr21 project? Any pics yet? Can you also post ordering information on these items? Thanks, Mike Unfortunately my first print got ...

Re: No 8 Models: German Bomb Dolly, Initial Paint shots.

I've been busy with crap, but managed to start the shading on the Bomb Dolly. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t3/nadodesign/IMG_1570.jpg Some things that i want to change: The bomb needed weight added to the nose, so i ended up stuffing tissue into the tail (to take up volume). I then added metal...

Re: Time For Action II ?

Yeap, ready when you are.
Talking about the boxes, you could just add a price for packaging as well? Especially if you need to buy some packing boxes.

Pappy Corsair almost arrived safe and sound. Only casualties were two snapped prop blades. Some glue should fix her up. She still looks fantastic :) . Thanks Matt.

Re: No 8 Models: German Bomb Dolly, first photo of the kit.

Great photos Normandy. I have been researching digitizing figure models, so they can then be 3d printed. There are a few processes for mapping organic shapes but I'm not close to having anything usable yet, still just playing around with things.

Re: No 8 Models: German WGr21 Rocket Launcher

The proper wheel pins are soon to arrive (Along with the first WGr21 kit), but here's the basic model fitted together. I can see a few areas were it needs improving, to help with the manufacturing but overall worked out well. Will hopefully get her painted by this weekend. http://i156.photobucket.co...

Re: No 8 Models: German WGr21 Rocket Launcher

Update. The Bomb Dolly kit should be home when I finish work. Looks like I may need to rethink the wheel pins though.
Also just ordered the WGr21 Rocket test sample.

Re: No 8 Models: German WGr21 Rocket Launcher

Ok, so i'm going to follow suit and try and contain all the model releases under this one post. I will be starting the modern ordnance kits soon, but recently I've been working on some follow ups to the bomb dolly. Included is a WGr21 rocket launcher, some ammo boxes, and various other German bombs....

Re: No 8 Models: German Bomb Dolly

I did a quick google search as well.
I couldn't find any good reference photos. A few large side views but nothing showing the top or under side details.
Found a 1/48 avenger diorama with a trolley, but it was scratch built.
Reference material will be the thing to keep an eye out for from now on.

Re: Live Auction So how Was It Guys ?

Greetings: I would suggest that the bids be thru PM.......... Maybe Pickelhaube could post the current daily bid in the auction posting so people would know what it is. Yes, this is a tricky one. One of the problems is that it also requires the seller to "maintain" the auction through out the live ...

Re: Live Auction So how Was It Guys ?

the only thing I would like to see is a start time and end time with a Central Time so people know the time difference when bidding. Yes, that's a good point. I'm not sure if the: "It is currently Mon Apr 22, 2013 5:46 pm", time at the the top of the gpxd page is the same for everyone, but if there...
