Re: 1/18 Scale Tiger II by Chritmas ? It's Up to you guys.

I think that paying $200.00 for the 1/16 heng long and dwarfing all my tank collection to save money is not an option.I rather not get a tank.I rather spend the few extra box to get the 1/18 KT.I got Pickel's t-34 and it displays really nice with my collection and i know for a fact that i am one of ...

Re: 1/18 prototype bunker: Japanese bunkers??? POLL.

I think the Japanese figure will display better on a small trench diorama.Like in the movie Windtalkers that there was a small area with the communications radio.I like the small bunker you made.It is perfect size for a book shelve and there will still be room left to display the allied invasion U.S...

The SDCC red skull, which was made with the same body of colonel Vogel was recently sold in ebay by the Chinese. The had over 200 of them and it was supposed to be a SDCC exclusive. For some reason it did not include the weapons, but the price was good. Also Indiana Jones temple of doom wave it is still ...

It is truth, the 1/16 is ahead right now, because they are radio controled, but 1/18 will always be ahead with the articulated figures.

Re: 1/18 New Models, New Business Models

I am sure that there is a good profit in the 1/18 market Forces of valor is still selling there 1/18 for quite a while. The reason is simple. There is much demand for 1/18 soldiers this days because the game industry is making modern and WWII games. In the 80's mattel and hasbro had record sales beca...

$20 per foot is a good price. It may take you 3 hours to get it done, but for most of us without tools or modeling skills,it may take a complete day and it still will not look as good as yours. :o

I just saw on diecastdirect.com the tiger tank is on pre sale for $385.00. I think that is a good deal. They sure go up on price and they are made in limited numbers.I dont't collect 1/16 but i wish the company make this same tank in 1/18 but not like the bravo.More like the extreme metal series.

Re: Would anyone be interested in 1/18 Buildings?

I think is a good idea.I have seen the buildings that you made for the winter Tiger tank diorama.I display my tanks on a book shelf,i guess most collectors do the same.My shelfs are 10 1/2" tall and some are 12 1/2 " tall.So i think it would be great buildings 10-12" tall and for those who have more...

All Go toys is more interested in making airplanes.Probably because there is more people in to it.But with so many pirates,it would have been smarter to sold the molds if they did not have the intent to use them. I think the Chinese saw the opportunity and grab it.Specially since they have a good ex...

Re: 3 Jnewboy 1/18 Projects on E-Bay this Week!!!

I found them on ebay, They are labeled as 1/16 Wittmann Decals but after getting them for my 1/16 Tiger I realized they are actually a shade on the small size for 1/16 so really they can be used for both scales, lots of Micro sol to get them to hug the zimmermit, that was hard! I guess is like the ...

Re: 3 Jnewboy 1/18 Projects on E-Bay this Week!!!

That is Tiger is a work of art.I like the fact that you use the #205 unit. Many people think Wittman's unit was 007.But that was just a tiger tank that he borrowed because his tiger 1 was being repaired at that time.He didn't had to go,but he volunteer because the crew of that tank was less experienc...

Re: Wittman Tiger #007?

Wittmans tank was unavailable because of mechanical problems. He borrowed the 007 unit from a less experience commander because he believed that he had better chances of survival in the suicide mission that they where being send.He did died in that unit. In the villgers Bocage his tank number was 205.

I will like the doors to open.I think swaping doors that really open for doors that are static will be the same as preferring the FOV tiger with less opening doors rather than the 21st century Tiger. If i go to the trouble of changing the rear section and painting the vehicle to match the doors,i don...
