Concerning 1:18 jeeps, I've always thought that the 1st series 21st Century XD Jeep is rather nice! Although its plastic, the level of detail is very good. The hood opens to reveal a detailed engine, the gas tank and folded soft-cover are under the driver and passenger seats respectively. It also ha...

Recieved my shipping notification for the new XD Sherman from BCA today! I never managed to get the 1:18 XD example of this famous tank, so I'm excited. Rather than showing up a week late, these vehicles have shown up nearly a week early!! 21st must really be trying to get an edge on BBI with the re...

XD Campfire Stories
(said holding a flashlight to my face) Once there was this time I walked into a Wal Mart... The staff were all friendly, and yes, helpful... I walk into the toy section and find a whole isle of XD products from the 1:6 Stuart to all the variants of the planes and armor currently released... but then...

I am very surprised about the knights! It seems an odd play by 21st, but then this genere may be more popular than I expect. They look good! How about throwing in "vehicles" such as wagons, catapults (that work), various seige equipment as well as a castle playset. If it wasn't so blown apart, the X...

XD Armor is NOT dead!!
21st is just full of surprises!! I love that Panzer IV and the M113! The possibility of that Panzer may just be enough to make me hold off on the new release of the Panther. They have the look more of production items than rough prototypes, so perhaps they're not far off!! Hopefully it will have the...

T-34 Recieved
Though this thread is pretty much dead, I recieved my FOV T-34 today and I am very impressed with it! Not only were there all the accessories (crates, oil barrels, stowage bags, spair track, building ruin) but the tank itself is simply awesome! I love all the opening hatches and the engine detail! T...

New BBI Planes at TRU
I'll believe it when I see it. If the F-18 does show up at TRU, I wonder if there will be a price reduction? Now the question as to whether or not I should wait for the P-51 to show up at TRU and risk not obtaining it...

California ANG F-16
Hey! I see F-16s with those markings everyday flying over my home in Fresno, California!! The main base for the 144th TFW is located there. My father (who works for the FAA) is good friends with the base commander and with him I've gotten close-up looks at the F-16s. Its always fun to see the F-16s ...

You can bet that the BBI P-51 will be far, far more accurate than the 21st P-51! Just compare the pictures below and look at all the functions the BBI one will have. The 21st P-51 has a funny looking propeller, oversized riviting, a largely undetailed cockpit, the wings are way too fat and landing g...

Antenna??
Whats this about the belly antenna for the XD FW-190D-9? I thought that was the control stick! I also noted the addition of the shrouded canopy on the Black Cheveron FW-190. Thats a nice little touch to make the planes physically differen, besides the paintscheme. On another note, has anyone noticed...

Its doubtful, but we will get a Japanese self-defense force F-104 painted like something from one of those Japanese cartoons before 21st goes under

Iraq Photos

Those are some awesome photos that really bring the Iraq conflict home in a certain way. They show the average soldiers going about their duties and trying to survive in a hostile environment, something the major media fails to show. Thanks for posting them!

BBi Avaliability
Thus far, its only the small retailer BigBoysWarToys that is showing anything about carrying the new WWII BBI stuff (the Sherman is on preorder for November). http://www.bigboyswartoys.com/cgi-bin/prod_page.pl?item=Elite-21370 I would guess it would be a given that these products will show up at the...

BBI Sherman for Preorder
Taking a tip from an earlier post, I found that the reputable online retailer BigBoysWarToys has the BBI Sherman avaliable for preorder. Its cost is $34.95 (which is about the same as the LAV) and they also included a list of the features! I've posted the link below: http://www.bigboyswartoys.com/cg...

BBI P-51
I'm very happy to see that BBI is doing a P-51! I think it will be a more distinct possibility to see this long before the retooled 21st mustang. It looks wonderful in the picture and simply blows away the 21st Mustang, but then almost any airplane does that! I deffinitely plan to get one so that I ...

BBI Gun
This is a new gun being developed for the US Army. I've read about it in a popular sicence magizne a couple of years ago. I forget the numerical designation, but it incorporates two firearms, one having the standard M-16 type round and the other a 20mm explosive round. It also has thermal and infrar...

BBI P-51!!!
Holy Crap!! Its for reals!! I'm drooling already! This will deffinitely be a must-have, since my toyish 21st P-51 looks so odd when compared to all the other realistic 21st aircraft. I think our chances of seeing the BBI P-51 within the next few months are extreamly good. I still consider the 21st r...

Thanks!
Thanks for the review! I don't have too much experience with FOV tanks, having only the Matilda and M1A1. Though those models are very nice and have cool accessories, I was dissapointed with how much "playability" the vehicle itself lacked, especially when compared with 21st 1:32 scale vehicles. Gla...
