Re: Favorite Scales/Collections...

1/18, definitively. Soldiers are mobile, so you can place them as you need. Try to find a 1/32 or 1/48 platoon of Marines and to place it into your Blackhawk... I could house 12 men into my BBI UH-60 (+ 2 pilots). But if you want to make a diorama, you have to go out home. Here some examples: http:/...

Re: UH-60Q Blackhawk

Hello, I'm not sure that there is any UH-60Q. There is a MH-60Q, that shows many differences, with a sort of flat nose radar, no bay windows on the side. Stretchers are along the left side, and there is one seat in the middle, facing backwards, and 2 other seats on the rigt side. Your picture shows ...

Re: What do you guys use the PTE Bridge for?

Have a look at this picture, from "grunt1" found in the foxhole's customer gallery:

I agree that no tank is light enough to cross the bridge without falling into the river.

Re: where to buy large sheets of foamcore?

Well, if it is just to make some pics, I've choosed very large, thick, hollow (like bee-nest) cardboard panels that are used as insulating materiel for houses, but also for theater sceneries. 2 times 6 x 3 feet, very cheap. Cardboard is light, rigid, easy to cut, to spray, and yellow tape for the li...

Thank you for leaving a feedback. Perhaps could a Blackhawk pilot tell us the exact size of this panel. When mounted in the model, it seems to be not big anough for 1 or 2 mm.

Re: is this a power team sidecar?

The side car and the jerrycan seems to be from Powerteam Elite, the motorbike not. I think it is a composite thing, as you can guess when considering the different style of weels. You can try to get an all PTE machine if you visit marauderinc.com or kidsarmyshop.co.uk (this store has also a location...

BBI UH/HH-60 Overhead Instrument Panel Custom

Hi all, Here is a very simple custom to make your BBI Blackhawk & Pavehawk better. Less than 1 hour work. You can download one of 2 versions of the panel, than zoom and print it to get a 26 mm square picture. This is to be cemented on a balsa floor (profiled to get the curve of the cockpit's ceillin...

To Webster14: Because I've never seen any 1/18 custom kit of these skis, I will now try to make them by myself. Not easy: I could'nt find till now the exact size, but collected some pics that should help and will try with ply wood. I have other projects, like the cockpit upper panel, throttle stick....

Re: Custom Updates . Please leave info with your order !!

I'm personnaly not interested now in upgrading my F-16. Priority set on my Pave Hawk (will have to wait a little bit more on Pickel's five stars kit). I would prefer to find a custom kit to make the UH/HH-60 cockpit better, so the upper instrument panel, collective/throttle joysticks. The Kiowa has ...

1:18 BBI Black Hawk / Pave Hawk skis

Hello everybody, Who knows the exact dimensions of UH-60 snow skis? I want to make them to get more realistic outdoor pictures this winter. But infering the size from pictures with comparison between the doors (for example) and the skis gives different results, probably depending on camera focus. Ca...

I'm now trying to make skis, to obtain better outdoor pics of my HH-60G with all the snow we now have in Switzerland. But without the guns, fuel boom, FLIR and radar, it's worthle...

Hi Matthew,

Greetings from Switzerland,
Chris
