Re: My Small 1/18 Desert Army
Hi Guys, Thank you all for your messages. It gives me the motivation to continue to find new ideas. Axis Nightmare, there is a quarry not far for my home where they grab out sand and gravel. Of course, it's forbidden to go there and during the week, they are workers and big machines. So I go only du...

My Small 1/18 Desert Army
Hi Guys, I've never had the place to display my Elite Force collection. All figures and vehicles are stored in my man's cave. So, today, I decided to get the most of it outdoor. Hope you'll enjoy. I've made from each sort of figure an 8 men platoon, missmatching the heads to have no twins in each un...

Re: Lets see some of photos of your customs and conversions.
Again, just a small custom with some stuff loaded on this BBI Buggy: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/P7300360-2_zpswe4xvxcv.jpg Compared to what other board member can do, it's just about nothing, but I'm happy with the water soft canister I've created (I had exactly the same when I...

Re: BBI is done with premium large scale models for collecto
I'm asking me if it was really a good way to choose to go on with big and bigger models. Only few people have anough place and money to collect and display all versions of the F/A-18, F-16... 21st crashed after the Avenger and F-14 release, they had the F-4 and the B-25 in project... The A-4 Skyhawk...

Well, I also would like to have the shelter and accessories, never seen that before. When was it released? By the way, the drone is a little bit too toyish for me. I have previously showed on this board the RQ-11 Raven I've made, exactly 1/18th scale, with wood, brass sheet and tube, and it seems to...

My Pickelhaube MH-60G Pave Hawk
Hi Guys, At last, I've nearly finished one custom, please have a look, it has a lot of small home made improvements. The rear rotor has been tilted in a correct position (20 degrees angle): http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/Different%20customs%20and%20docs/P7220341-2_zpshv71ntrz.jpg T...

Re: Lets see some of photos of your customs and conversions.
Just finished today, a small custom work on a BBI Super Humvee. Actually, it is a wreck with many broken parts, but I decided to try to do something with it and I hope to find another one to do the same: Not so much to see on this general view. Note that 2 figures have home made sun glasses, made wi...

Re: 1/18 Elite Force LAV-25 in action
Thank you tmanthegreat. I suppose that very squilled modellers bought 2 LAV-25, one from wich they have cut the trap doors and the other in which they have grabed the openings for a better detailled model. It is sad that only 21st made a model where all crew doors opened, the Bradley. But it is too ...

Here is a close up of my customised LAV-25: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/P7070305_zpsyutadqzx.jpg Not so much stuff: - Steel wire to replace the original antennas - There are 2 small parts of an "individual camo nest" bought in a surplus shop, much cheaper per m2 than the build-a...

OK, I've now loaded the turret basket and put a camo nest on the rear, and put the right number of soldiers unloading the LAV-25, thanks guy for your input. http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/P7060301%20-%204_zpsyqlojkmk.jpg http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/P7060293%20-...

Re: 1/18 Elite Force LAV-25 in action
Disappointing... I've checked again the LAV-25 caracteristics. They only carry 6 soldiers + 3 men crew. So my pic is wrong... Don't know if I can find the place in the same conditions. By the way, ttt, thanks for the information. Do you know what kind of realistic stuff might be carried in the baske...

Re: 1/18 Elite Force LAV-25 in action
Thanks guys for your comments. grockwood, it doesn't take so much time to display the figures. I drove needles into the feet of each figures to keep them standing. The most difficult is to find the right terrain and point of view. tmanthegreat, I agree with you. But where can I find modern stuff tha...

Re: Australian S-70A-9 Blackhawk
Looks fine! I got from Novascale in Australia a set of 1/18 australian air force decals for a Kiowa and a Blackhawk (with UN markings for the S-70, UN-Ops in Timor, 2000) , but never customised one or the other of my birds until now... You did it!

Pickel,
The diamond anti skid plate would be a tactical better choice. I'm not sure they would have put a rubber mat on the floor in case of a fire in the cabin...

Help! Looking for the rear right door of my desert humvee!
Hello Guys,
Missing the rear right door of my humvee, it is the desert first version (closed), not the superhumvee. Probably lost in the field during an outdoor picture shooting at the sand quarry, no hope to refind it. Who could help?

Need 1/18 Elite Force heads, for trade lot of weapons
Hello, I have a complete platoon of 8 BBI desert army soldiers, but all have the black hood and a silly soft black helmet. I have other helmets, and would like to replace these head sculpts, and also some broken hands. So if you have broken figures for sale or for trade... I can offer a big lot of v...

A10LOADER, the 4th pic is the best for me. Same view from a little bit above the jet as in your first shot. Finally, my eyes went from the plane to the boat and ignored the jet's shadow on the water. Very impressive. I often make shoots of my small BBI world outdoor. I think that it must not looks t...
