Re: BBI Zero Paint Color Question
I've been wanting to buy one of the PH Zero's haven't seen one in person, except on eBay. But going off pictures I would say try Tamiya J.N. Gray or J.N. Green-Gray.

Re: My Buin Airfield A6M2
This is my Buin Airfield A6M2 should be a A6M3 type 32 Hamp but no luck on finding that in 1:18th, except that one prototype. I used Guillows 1:16th Zero decals cut down, and the others were homemade decals. Painted Tamiya J.N. Grey. I removed the antenna just as the Japanese did as a field mod, I t...

Re: USING 1/16 DECALS FOR 1/18 AIRCRAFT?
Well, as far as the Guillows Decals go they're BIG. But I did find with the Fiskars circle cutter I got them to work in no time. With that I would suggest to anyone to get the Fiskars circle cutter to make masks for hinomarus or any projects requiring up to an 8" circle especially if you have non st...

Re: Fw-190 A Modification in 1/18 Scale
Well I guess it would be a whole nose and cowling mod like the FW-190. But everything else seems to be the same. The stabilizer tab could be shaved off easily.

Re: Fw-190 A Modicification in 1/18 Scale
I would be interested in it, I like the look of this version better. How hard would it be to make a A6M3 Zero nose cone?

Re: So...what's next for Merit?
A6M3 Zero type 22/32- maybe make it were you can buy the type 32 wings seperately (more $ for the company) or as an extra option in the box. Plenty of color schemes for those.

Re: USING 1/16 DECALS FOR 1/18 AIRCRAFT?
I ordered the 1/16th hinomarus from Guillows, waiting for them to arrive. I'll see how they look first, but I found a adjustable circle cutter from Office Max for $17 to trim them if need be.

USING 1/16 DECALS FOR 1/18 AIRCRAFT?
I was browsing around for some new hinomaru decals for my Sakai Zero repaint and couldn't find anything except 1/24 scale ones. So I thought about using Guillows 1/16 aircraft ones, they sale them for spare parts. So I bought 2 sets, for experimenting. Has anyone tried this before? I bought some fro...

How rare are the BBI Zero's
I've been trying to buy the Kounoike and the Pearl Harbor Zero. I have 2 Sakai ones (one is repainted) and the 261st NAG leader Zero. I can only find the Pearl Harbor one on eBay and that thing is $200. I've seen the Kounoike on there but I always get outbid past $140. Although I tried to get my sis...

Did they make individual Japanese Pilots in 1:18?
Just curious to know if they made Individual Japanese Pilots? I've seen individual pilots for other aircraft but haven't seen any Japanese. I'd like to have a few for my Zero's, besides the ones that came with.

Yes, the figures were high minus the Japanese Marines which I now have a small army, that's the cheapest I've seen them and the MIG also. They have free shipping for orders over $50 or $100.

Re: Flying into the 21st Century! 21st Century Toys
People get enraged when I ask about 21st Century or BBI. I just started to collect the 1/18 aircraft after I went home last time looking to take some spare parts for my 64 Impala to the bodyshop, when I came across several of my 1/18 aircraft still NIB. Since I couldn't bring my car to Hawaii with m...

Re: My first ever Japanese repaint ~ A6m2 -- Rabaul, 1942
Hello, New to this forum. I love your Zero, I never wanted to customize my 1:18 aircraft, now i'm going to have to explain why I need another 1:18 Zero to the lady of the house. Anyways, I have several books on the Zero mainly from Japan that my cousins send me, I can't read kanji so I just look at ...
