I believe the blackhawk is a new repaint. When I asked the gentleman at the booth. He asked me to come back later when someone who knew about it would be there? I didn't have the time. I guess its going to be a spec ops bird, very flat finish. Bad Cat did have the prototype Red Devil F18. He had a s...

Hey Guys, don't give up on Tuesday Morning yet. I was in SoCal this weekend dropped by a store and found a Tornado and a 1/72 Memphis Belle. The funny part to me is this store is within 1/4 mile of a descent hobby shop and within 5 miles of the WOH event. I went in on Sunday and the Tornado was on t...

I took a few pics at the show and put them in a webshots album. Click on the website button below. I had to go to a wedding so I went through the show quick. I know I forgot to take a pic of the new BadCat "Red Devil" F18. I went to the planes at the 21st Century Booth, grabbed some freebie posters ...

I think someone out there is getting in on the contest already. I went to Walmart yesterday and checked for 190's. Same 7-8 ones there for the last few months. Today I was in the neighborhood so I dropped in again because I didn't scan them. I believe at least 2 were gone. I went to register and had...

I don't think buying 4 planes for a special is a bad deal. However 4 of the same plane makes it tough. I have 4 190's hanging now and 4 in boxes. Unless Wallyworld has a clearance I don't see how I can justify 4 more. A combination of 4 would have made me want to run out and buy right away. Theres b...

I've had a B-17 buzzing around all day. Pretty cool, I keep running outside like a little kid. The Collings Foundation is in the SF Bay Area this weekend at old Moffett Field. Not sure if I'm going to make it theres an IPMS show for me to blow some on this weekend. Nice weather, warbirds, baseball a...

They're in CA, found them at Union City Wally in NorCal. Sorry but the B36 pic were removed by Webshots for copyright infringement. Hopefully you were able to get what you needed first. I thought there was a slight chance of that happenning. I found the kit and uploaded pics to webshots. I think you'll be able to see how the bomb bay was configured. The kit has both the F84 & F85.
I also found this kit preview from modellingmadness -

Here's the few pages from "B-36 in action" and "in detail & scale" that have info. Unfortunately there are no pictures of the Goblin only the F84. I do have the 1/144 Hobbycraft kit somewhere in my garage if this doesn't help. I spent about 15 min trying to get the pics on the page but I don't know ...

All this F104 talk had me look up an article I remember reading in International Air Power Review Vol 12.. There's a 9 page article on the Starfighter in Vietnam. Quite a few bare metal pics of its early deployment. Yes 1 did get shot down by a Chinese fighter. However they had a good reputation in ...

raiderad6 not sure where you are in CA. I hit 2 Wally yesterday in the Bay Area Milpitas 190's and 2 tropical 109's. Union City had an endcap with XD vehicles, Bulldogs, halftracks and 1 German halftrack. In one of the aisles their were Marines and x32 playsets. They also had some 190's and 1/6 vehi...

I bought the patches of pride decals (modern subdued) for the JC Penney plane. The decals were almost as expensive as the plane but they look nice and detailed. I'm planning to just do the exterior and hang it up far away in the back. The length and wingspan are actually very close to 1/18. It does ...

strange thing happenned at TRU today. I went looking for apaches and saw a BBI M1. First I've seen in a while and should have been on clearance. I scanned it and it came up as a $39 Sherman. I checked out the barcode and it said Sherman. Turns out someone put a sticker over the original M1 barcode. ...

Thanks All, I used Testor model master gloss coat on all the planes. I then used future over the top for a better shine. I borrowed a plastic tub and put 2 bottles of future in. Then I dunked the wings and tailplanes. Let all the excess future drip and off and put them off to dry. They turned out be...

Thanks guys, I was going to make the delta but I'm going to try and recreate P51's pic of the solo's passing. It looks cool and it will take up less room. I am happy with the Blue Angels and my wife says they look much better in person than in the pics. The JC Penney jet is coming along but its a lo...
