M-36 Jackson Vs M-7 Priest
Hey Guys, I am taking a break from full builds and am making protos of the things that I said I would build. I think I can do one more proto that I can build before the consigners start getting P O'd The Priest with the 105 and the M-36 Jackson. M-7 Priest I have the proto for the 105 80% done for y...

He Guys, I started my rendition of the Sturmtiger right after I finished the M-10 Ersatz proto. I have worked on it for 3 days now. I made the vented callor and have started on the gun tube. I wasn't sure how to even start the tube so I settled on using one of my script bottles and started working k...

Are Mods The Thing of the Past ?
Hey all you collecting Guys, Historically except about 20 years ago I always sell more of my mods on ebay. I use this forum as a launching site when I make a new creation. I consider it home. I actually have not made one in about 5 years or so. During that period almost all XD has increased in price...

Ersatz M-10 Panther or A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing
Hey Guys, I just finished the Ersatz M-10 . These were used in the Battle of the Bulge to try and infiltrate the American lines. 10 were made and they did NOT fool anybody. The Germans also used Sturmshultzs painted in OD green , they did not fool anybody as well ! https://photos.smugmug.com/Consign...

Re: Sturmtiger
After a 10 year wait !!!
I am in the building mode.
I have put a hold on consignments for now and am working on prototypes.
The Ostwind proto is done and I am halfway through the Ersatz M-10 Panther.
The Sturmtiger will be after the Ersatz M-10

1/18 Scale Ostwind
After about 20 years I am finally done with the Ostwind prototype . This is a complex anti aircraft cannon. I had to do some modification to accept figures. After doing this it is still tight for the gunners position and you will have to pop off the gunners right leg at the knee. His left will fit i...

Re: 1/18 Scale Wittman's 007
Pickel have you found any add on zimmerit sheets by Attack Model or any other maker? Its the best product if you don't want to make your own. It will cut your build time in half!! You just cut, glue and its ready for paint and I've found that 1:16 zimmerit sheets will work very well with 1:18...tri...

Fantastic work, Picklehaube 8) I remember from quite a few years ago Jnewboy making various custom Tigers by combining the 21st and Bravo Team models. You model looks very impressive, especially for only two days work! Oh no . It took 2 days to make the muffler cages and extra tracks. I have over 6...

Pickel all that work paid off, wonderful looking Tiger! Your detailed track links just add to it. I see Grunt has the Tiger I track links listed on the Battleground Models site. Is he going to make full sets? Thanks YT and Normandy Normandy I don't think so. But he is making the strip for in front ...
