I wish they still had these at TRU. Super easy to dirty them up a bit with some paint.

Re: Marx Battlefield Restoration Project - 1:32 Scale

I just remember buying lots and lots of generic army men sets from the local Ben Franklin. Being born in '75 and not having any older siblings I missed out on Marx and all their plastic goodness. Hell, half the figures and vehicles might have even been from old Marx molds. Sorta on the subject, I bo...

Re: Enough to make you weep.

Not 1:18 but 32x from back when I collected mainly XD. I stopped at a WM I usually never go to and they had a big section with row after row of 32x vehicles piled high. Tropical PZIIIs, Whirbelwinds, Ost Winds, Stugs, Panthers, Tigers, Brumbars, Opels and more. They were marked down to like $5. I pa...

Thanks for the heads up man! That is a great looking piece and in 1:72 to boot! does the packaging look a little different, or is it me?

Re: Best Online Store for 1:72 Aircraft and Armor?

Well I've always loved 1:32, since the 32x days but I have no room for the stuff. 1:72 has an easier time sharing space with my GI Joe collection. I will check out Aikens and Flying Mule when I get a chance. Thanks guys! BTW, my Easy Model Marines Choctaw Heli just arrived and it is really fantastic.

Best Online Store for 1:72 Aircraft and Armor?

I am looking for the best sites to buy pre-built 1:72 aircraft and armor. Best prices and quality service. I am getting back into the game after having to sell my collection a few years ago. I've bought stuff from Bad Cat, Small Joes and such. I like Easy Model (Yeah, I know, not diecast! ) F...

Re: F-86D Sabre Dog "Tiger Sharks" 1:72 Falcon Models FA7230

As was said above, they do some unique subjects in 1:72 scale, with my favorites being the T-33 and F9F Panther. Yes, I saw the Panther as well. Also the beautiful Hobby Master F-101B Voodoo. I love these 50's-60's era jets. Worst part is I passed by the 1:72 Super Sabre and Thunderchief way too ma...

Thanks man! I'm just dipping my feet into the 1:72 pool again. I had quite a few aircraft a couple years ago but I had to sell them off. I really only have experience with Easy Model and Corgi. Not sure about that rocket pack on the F-86D though.

I agree 100%. Plug-in landing gear pieces are the way to go. Allows for more detail and no loss of realism required to make the gear retractable. Plus you still get your choice of gear up or down.

I have always loved the Dog Sabre and this one looks to be a beauty but what's the scoop on Falcon Models? Are they a good maker, is the price about right? They also don't say if it has optional pieces like retracted gear or open canopy.
