1/18 M20 Utility Car

I found this in the sold section of an Ebay seller. Anyone seen one before. While it is not 100% accurate it has possibilities. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-US-WWII-M20-M8-Greyhound-Scout-Car-1-18-3-75-Ultimate-Soldier-XD-BBI-/153039470410?hash=item23a1dcff4a%3Ag%3Al0oAAOSwI4xa5nHU&nma=true&si=wV...

Looks very impressive. Very nicely detailed and painted. I don't build plane models but my Father did. Don't know if he built one of those or not.

Found at 2nd hand shop

I don't usually find anything at places like Goodwill and other charitable thrift shops. I happened to go into this one to kill some time. I was looking through the pile of broken toys for any diecast cars when I recognized the olive drab rear deck of a BBI M4A3 Sherman. I pulled it out and noticed ...

Re: An Availability Observation

I can't speak for the dealers at those flea markets, but it has been my experience that most dealers aren't always collectors. They usually buy what doesn't sell at other outlets for resell. A lack of 21 st and other popular military figures and vehicles means that there are more people who own and ...

Re: I still make buildings! 1/18 Netherland Brick (WIP)

That's some cool stuff you are making. With 1/18 being so large, street scenes take up a lot of room. I have had an idea for a Paris street scene since my 1/35th model building days. But in 1/18 it wouldn't be portable.

I have stood next to the Tiger II at the old Patton museum. But watching one drive around would be amazing.

Re: French King Tiger in Overloon 2018

That is some great videos. I didn't know there was a running Tiger II. With all the coverage about the running Tiger I in Fury, I would have thought the Tiger II would have been brought up.

Is the Tiger II from the museum at Overloon?

1/18 stone cottages

I found these at local Jo-Ann craft and fabric stores. They are cottage planters that are close to 1/18. They have no roof. You could leave them open topped for that bombed out look or build a roof for them. They are on sell for about $19.00 and only availability in store. Here is the Jo- Anne websi...

They also dumped 3/4 tons and trucks into the ocean. In the boon "Commanding the the Red Armies Shermans" auther Dmitriy Loza tells of at the end of WWII, They witness the Allies dumping planes into the ocean. The decision was made not to turn in their beloved M4s to be dumped into the ocean.

Re: Did Hitler really die in his bunker?

I remember reading that Stalin was very paranoid about the subject of Hitler having escaped. IMHO, the Soviets would have found him if they really believed he had survived.
