Wasn't this also right about the time the $1 figures started showing up at WM? I only bought a small amount of the MD clearance stuff but man I racked up on the figures at WM. I'm not sure how many I bought but it was somewhere in the 150-200 range. I kept some and sold a heap of them on eBay. With ...

That's looking good. I like the job you did on the pants. It's kinda hard to tell about the rifle because it's dark and the pictures are a bit dark too. Do you prefer the molded boots? I know that some people do prefer them over leather/pleather ones. I use molded boots on some of my bashes but for ...

Re: My South Florida Toy Soldier Show Score

Nice score. I didn't realize you were into 1:6 also. Do you frequent any 1:6 forums? If you've posted any pics of 1:6 customs anywhere I'd be interested in seeing them.

I hate to get picky, but the AG site repeats "various scale" models. Could that "various scale" include the big guys in 1/6? Seeing as how 21C 1/6 Jeeps are now regularly in the $150up price range and the White Scout Cars over the $500 range and the Command Cars also over $400. Maybe somebody shoul...

I don't do 1/18 planes but even I would be interested in WWI planes. At the top of my list would be a Fokker Dr.1, Sopwith Camel, S.E.5a and an Albatros DIII or DVa. A Spad in Guynemer or Nungesser's markings would be welcome as well. I've always been interested in WWI planes and used to build 1/48 ...

For any joint that has a pin that pops into a hole try using teflon tape. For anyone that's not familiar with it, it's used by plumbers to seal the threads on pipe joints so that they don't leak. It's not really an adhesive tape. It's more like a thin stretchy strip of rubbery plastic. Just wrap a l...

At the top of my list would be the classic era French Foreign Legion and Arab warriors. A Fort Zinderneuf playset would be awesome. Massive but awesome. Ever since I saw Beau Geste as a kid I've wanted something like that. Of course I could probably never afford such a huge playset but this is a "dr...

Pretty intense video. Looks like the occupants of the car didn't fare to well. I'm pretty sure that those APC's belong to the German army. It's hard to be absolutely certain but after doing a Google search I believe that they are TPz Fuchs APC's. You can imagine what that sounds like when you say it...

I don't think being new is what his problem is. He's been listing customs on eBay for quite some time. He uses these lines in every listing: "I have built models for 20+ years and have had work published in Fine Scale Model Magazine. I am an expert on the Luftwaffe and WWII.". Of course just because...

i dont know.......those stairs running up the outside are pretty unusual. Really make it distinctive. A scratchbuilt railing might help. For a WW2 diorama I don't think the stairs would be too out of place. I'm no expert on architecture from that era but I'd bet that there were some residential dwe...

I think you could probably use the building in a bunch of different locals with a little work. It would probably work just fine the way it is in a mediterranean dio. With a repaint it should fit just fine in european dioramas as a commercial building or the type of apartment you might find in a run ...

If you go to their website and sign up for their mailing list they'll send free shipping and $ off coupons on a regular basis. Sometimes the discounts can be fairly substantial.

I also noticed that they had some stuff in the UK shop that wasn't in the US shop. I would shop around a bit before purchasing. Do a Google search for "World Peacekeepers Main Battle Tank" and see if you can find it cheaper. Also remember that those UK prices generally include VAT which is about 15%...

I doubt that they will show up at Big Lots as they haven't been reported as of yet. For anyone wanting just the FAV, I would suggest waiting until JC Penney puts Christmas toys up on their website.
