Re: 1:18 Scammers?
I forgot to mention that the code they listed is about privacy policies, and has nothing to do with requiring them to get people's birth dates and such. They are trying to use it as a pro for their obtaining information vs what it was meant for, a con against privacy information being loosely handle...

FOUND THE GEORGE W. BUSH PLANE! It seems I was right. Those links were not to the Bush plane, but instead, the Bunker Hill, and a Midway Island plane. Here is a link to the George W. Bush plane!!! http://www.aikensairplanes.com/tbf-avenger-x-2-vt-51-uss-san-jacinto-1944-lt-george-bush-aikens-exclusi...

Re: NEW AVENGERS FROM CHINA??!!!!!!
Anyone read this about the light colored one that is supposed to be George W Bush marked, which isn't listed below anywhere. This TBF-1, marked as 8-T-1, is the sole surviving aircraft from Torpedo Squadron 8's (VT-8) attack on the Japanese fleet at the Battle of Midway on June 4, 1942. It was flown...

Re: Crazy prices
I completely agree with you about the Blue Angels junker plane. I own every 1:18, and even had that one through a purchase, but gad, it was so dang ugly and poorly done, I dumped it. I would rather not look at it. I considered a repaint to fix it, but passed. Something seemed wrong, like it was lack...

Re: Holy Grail found....
I just picked up the two rare P51s he has at 700 for $750 as a pair, and I felt that was nuts, but I was only missing three planes, and these were two of them. This guy's prices are somewhat nutty. Not far off in some cases, but some are whacked. The two for $700 each are definitely expensive, but I...

Re: NEW AVENGERS FROM CHINA??!!!!!!
I don't get where anyone is getting that the one is marked as a George W Bush Avenger. The only proof of markings I found so far is the X2 tail markings of the one he was shot down in, and that they were named Barbara I Barbara II and Barbara III. Does anyone have any have any specific information o...

1:18 Panzer Wanted
I am specifically looking for someone selling the 1:18 Panzer marked #634...anyone have that one and interested in selling it?
However, I am also looking for Panzer #122, and one other random panzer for a decent price for a conversion I would like to do.
Thank you for the help

You selling any tanks? Also, do you by any chance have the Night stalker MH-6 Little Bird helicopter? I only want the black one without any of the radar junk on it.

1:18 P-38 Wanted
If these two Wanted posts are in the wrong spot, please let me know...I remember someoen talking about a sort of "for sale" section, but dang if I can't find that in the 1:18 lists. I was curious if anyone had the P-38 marked Hakalaklea or whatever, and would be willing to part with it...has the sor...

Whoa, that thing is amazing in quality! I am more into big gun looking tanks, but the back end and everything on that is ridiculously cool. Price seems proper I would say. Too bad that Puma was so dang much...was that one re-worked by any chance, and was that previous price for them the best pricing...

Re: We Got a B-25 in 1/18 Scale... Sort Of.
I would definitely be down for hearing the prices for these: DC-3 - OH YES! B-17 (What was the cost on the HPH nose again? I can't remember, but I thought of that same thing when I first saw it). B-24 The props, canopy, landing gear, all would be a pain unfortunately. I think I would beg Pickel to m...

Re: 1/18 Hurricane
Really Pickel, the MiG-3? Why? That was basically junk compared to the ME-109, and not a great aircraft, even in Russia's eyse, despite the cool MiG name, which had me interested enough to look that one up. The Russian aircraft I have been wanting to get my hands on now for years is the YAK-9! It wa...

Re: Panzer IV Lower Hull
I was just thinking about trying to do the same dang thing off one of the ones that came smashed to bits, lol. I thought I could get most of the hull, but the wheels would be a pain, since they bit the dust in the UPS crusher.
Let us know what you think the cost might work out to be.

Re: 18 AC display makeover- not too fancy
Great work on those shelves! In the second or third to the last post, your design has the two very skinny posts (in back), with the planes heavily exposed for viewing. How are they stabilized? Doesn't look like you used a cross member between the two at the top. They are just free standing straight ...

Re: 1/18 F-14 Tomcat re-release?
I believe the confusion was caused by a recent email that went out from a seller that had a rather vague statement about a new pre-order F-14 Tomcat of only 1000 pieces being released soon (December 2016). As far as I could tell, it was for a 1:72 scale F-14, and had nothing to do with 1:18. This is...

At first glance I didn't realize what it was, and I was looking pretty fast. I see now it is a wheel! Wow, I am sorry to hear he passed, that is always a bummer.
Put me down for the Hetzer as well, that is really cool with that big circle thing on the side. Never seen one before. But the Sturm is #1 for me!

I am interested in the Sturmtiger! Can we vote on that one? If not, I want to vote for the Stug first, and second the SU-85 or SU-100 (CanberraPaul-great idea!). But if you could, please consider the Sturmtiger! It is way cool, especially with the below paint scheme. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fi...
