Re: F5 Freedom Fighter
Megahobbies informs me they were made by "Hawk" and then by "Testors",Now I think back it was a "Testors" one I had, then later done by "Lindberg" but not in the Chrome finish. They was also quite a lot of other planes in the series,so now on to Evilbay to find one.

F5 Freedom Fighter
Back in the day I had an approx 1/48 model of an F5 Jet that was moulded in a "Chrome" plastic, very shiny. It did not survive the Great Firecracker War and now I would like to track one down but I can't remember the name of the Company that made it,I think there were some other jets made by the same ...

Re: Am I Out of My Mind? -- 1/32 Heinkel 111
NOTE: This method will not work for 1/18, obviously. That will require fishing line or wire. I've had my 1/18 Me262 Nightfighter bust a line - thankfully my hand was underneath as I was just about to grab it to adjust a panel. Just need to make sure the thread you buy has a high strength. Silk is st...
CplSlade"]Sounds to me like "she who must be obeyed" needs a name change to "she who lives in a refrigerator box down under the overpass".
Looks like I will be getting a neck crick soon, and you've never had any problems with a thread snapping from the weight of a bigger model?

[ Also it was a bitch holding a plane over my head while also trying to tie a piece of fishing line to a small ring also over my head. The wire just wraps around a couple of times and 'voila"!
Thanx,I just moved and this place has a large basement Rec room and she who must be obeyed says the...

Re: Am I Out of My Mind? -- 1/32 Heinkel 111
I have built the Beaufighter. Not a bad build but being a relic of 70's tech it is a bit lacking in areas. It's one of those planes everybody is clamoring for a retool at current tech. If you've built any other old Revell kits then you know what to expect. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v510/bre...

Re: Finished Canadian Navy Banshee F2H-3
Just finished this one for my collection. It was built out of box.
This Banshee is in the markings of VF-870 off the HMCS Bonaventure.
When the Yanks flew Banshees they would refuse to do Cross Deck landings on the Bonny as they said the Flight Deck was too small!!!

He also has them for $9.99 but charges $12 Shipping so it's sort of a difference between having 6 of 1 thing or 1/2 a dozen of 1 thing.

Re: new!! 1/32 WW! FT-17 tank available
Wish the pictures of tank had included a ruler/tape measure as I have often found my idea of 1/32 and a Chinese dealer's idea of 1/32 isn't always the same unless some one on the site has knowledge of the model company box shown if they are a true 1/32,I'm not familiar with that brand name.
