Re: merit Announcment

I really hope that the advances in technology really let smaller operations, like Pickel runs, take off (literally and figuratively!). While I'd appreciate supporting USA-based businesses and all that, I think the fact that you could hopefully get a small replacement part sometime this decade would ...

Re: merit Announcment

All's well that ends.. well?

Right?

At least we know JS-I can actually produce stuff, at an attractive price point is another question.

For the sake of the hobby I really hope they knock it out of the park whatever it is.

Re: OurWar figures coming back to the US

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=TIK10004&mode=retail Looks like BBTS has them up for pre-order.. $59.99 blah. You can still get them on eBay from China for $49.99 with free shipping. (and packaging! Woo! haha) Hopefully some of the other retailers have a more attractive price...

OurWar figures coming back to the US

http://www.fighting118th.com/2013/04/10/merit-is-bringing-the-ourwar-figures-back/ Looks like Merit is re-importing the OurWar figures again. Though looks like they will be coming without packaging for whatever reason. You can currently get the whole set shipped from China for $50, so hopefully the...

One can hope.

I'd really like the F-4 to become a reality.

F-15 would be nice, though I'm not sure I'd have room for it anywhere right now.

Re: New 1:18 Bravo Team HMMWV

I wonder how easily the barriers could be replicated? They are hollow on the inside, so they don't take much material. Barvo Team(R)! That's a riot.. good old quality control. I took her apart last night: http://www.fighting118th.com/forums-content/bravoteam-hmmwv-open01.jpg Other than the crappy wh...

Re: New 1:18 Bravo Team HMMWV

First impressions: The Good: 1. It's tough. Typical Unimax/Bravo Team build quality. They're meant for kids, so they can take some abuse without breaking. Not a lot of small delicate parts/edges to easily lose/break. 2.It has a PUSH BAR! Proper Mirrors! Fording Kit! Front windows! 3. Barricades! Co...

Re: New 1:18 Bravo Team HMMWV

They were not out on the shelves when I went, but asked, and they brought them out of the back for me. Likely they could be included on a new toy isle reset or something soon. They seem to be the same SKU as the large vehicles (Abrams/Bradley). It's odd that Unimax didn't show anything about these a...

Re: 1:18 Ghost Recon

It's still a part of Unimax's "Gamestars" line.. so should be similar to Crysis etc. Hopefully they've learned a thing or two since then, and blend it with the "Bravo Team" line, and we'll all be happy.

And hey, maybe we'll get RUSSIAN bad guy figures out of this!
