SKY RAY: Thanks for the info. Two questions: 1. Would the SKU tell me if my local ToysRUs has it in stock?.....(the local ToysRUs is on the other side of town and might save me a trip if they're not in stock). 2. Would it be better to buy the new BBI World War II paratroopers now or would they be o...

Re: The FOV Elefant is finally here!
No Jeeps on the shelf, huh? :D LOL, the Jeeps are TRU only! But that isn't a bad idea. Speaking of that, I just came back from Target today and I found both the OIF Abrams and Deuce. At the checkout the Abrams rang up as $25.99 but when we got to the Deuce the price was not availabl...

Found the M16 at Glendale. This one wasn't "locked down" like Costa Mesa was, interestingly this is the only store I've seen in all of SoCal that has every Bravo Team vehicle lined up on the shelf together (both camo Abrams, both camo Bradley, both camo Sherman, and the M16), all except the Tiger th...

Went to the Glendale TRU today and found the new paratroopers, I bought Burgess and Ritter. Burgess looks awesome compared to the 21CT version, Corporal Mansfield. :) There's also a special discount on the Daisy June Corsairs at Glendale, originally $39.99, they are now marked $29.99 each. I picked ...

It did not ring up at the checkout by itself through, so I brought over one of the Stugs for them to use to ring up as a substitute instead.

The FOV Elefant is finally here!
Just went to Target today and found an Action Series Elefant sitting on the shelf! Couldn't believe it! Didn't someone said it wouldn't be coming out in Action grade earlier, and only the Deuce would? Anyways, I had the same problem checking it out like I did back at the Costa Mesa Target wh...

Many ways to make those holes non-holes and watertight. Epoxy filler will do. It may be top heavy, however and just turn turtle. Does it come apart at the waterline? If so you could epoxy the holes and add some weights below the water line. I need something cheap and temporary. I'm thinking about u...

Ok, I was examining the Bismarck again, it definitely cannot float. I just realized the four holes below it where the wire goes through to hold it in place inside the box (similar to how the new 1:72 FOV tanks are packaged) will let water in internally into the Bismarck, causing it to flood inside. ...

Did some more digging, its actually a Chinese APC after all, the IFV look definitely matches the WZ551.aferguson wrote:actually it looks more like the French VAB and is more likely to be the size of the smaller VAB too.

couldn't find any in box pics of the apc....if someone can find them please post. It's a chinese design.....not based on anything russian. The real thing is about 21 feet long so probably a good chance it will be to scale, as it only needs to be 14 inches. The Infantry Fighting Vehicle looks like t...

A quick overview: Took me a while to pull out, but after stroking the Bismarck carefully for a while, most of the ship is made of hard/sturdy plastic. The four main guns rotate and cannon barrels elevate up and down. The only flaws I can see with my copy is that certain points are bented; one of the...

I would be interested to see what the underside of the vehicle looks like compared with the 21c offering ( I got so spoiled by the undersides of the Dodge trucks and Command Car). Bearing in mind that some of what is on the FOV halftrack seems more accurate (cut down in the side armor), how difficu...

It looks pretty nice. The only thing I don't like is the cardboard looking instrument panel. :( Its actually a sticker. Looks like the figures can fit inside without having to take their legs off! Any difficulty getting them to sit in the seats? Nope, the figures slide and sit in the seats without ...
