1/18 BBI Abrams with Mine Plow?
what is this? Is this a bbi Abrams with an elaborate custom? Some of the detailing looks cheap, ie stickers for serial numbers and us flag, cheap looking plastic aerial. But other parts look very intricate. Seller's description is not of much help. https://www.ebay.com/itm/186255877413?hash=item2b5d...

pseudo 1/18 T-14 Armata tank
Just putting this out there for anyone interested. This is an RC model tank. It is supposed to be a T-14 Armata, which it does look like, in broad strokes. Has only 6 road wheels instead of 7 on the real vehicle. Can't vouch for the scale being correct but review comments are about it's big size and...

and a fourth one. This has been around for a while so I am not sure I I've posted it before. He-111 bomber. About 1/13 scale. Looks pretty sharp.

B-1B Lancer by XFly. About 1/24 scale, same as the Freewing B-2 Spirit I posted about a while back. Would make a nice pair. Wings on Lancer swing.

Re: New 1/18 Hind
Sounds expensive. Has Delta 17 made anything else 1/18 scale as a guide to price and quality? Why announce it 2 years in advance.....is this a crowd funding project? EDIT: I found their website. They make a handful of mediocre looking figures. They may be O-ring figures. At the risk of being a wet b...

Re: Opinions on World Peacekeeepers Military Patrol Buggy?
thanks Tman, I can always count on you for good advice. It's a shame that all the great BBI toolings from years ago are going unused. The Elite Force line is still continuing but it a much more toy like form. Why not re-release some of these old toolings instead of making toyish, awful new ones? The...

Opinions on World Peacekeeepers Military Patrol Buggy?
This is PTE's version of the Desert Patrol Vehicle (aka Fast Attack Vehicle). I never saw one in the flesh, so I would be interested in opinions as to it's size and accuracy. I used to have the original BBI FAV but it was destroyed in a fire many years ago and I don't feel like forking out a ton to ...

German Gotha IV bomber of WWI. Looks pretty well proportioned. 1/15 scale. See the review link in the link below. https://www.maxfordusa.com/product-page/1-15-gotha-g-iv-wwi-bomber-arf and, holy moly, a 1/20 scale Do X....almost 8 foot span! https://www.maxfordusa.com/product-page/1-20-dornier-do-x-...

Re: 1:18 scale Smasha Squig!
As far as i'm concerned, there are 2 big blunders on this toy. First, there is no way to lower the Squig's head into a ramming pose. Second, the Ork's mouth is closed. It should be open and roaring....instead he looks like he's watching the sun set. They should have made this toy more like the GW mo...

Vietham Swift Boat PCF 1
Thought i'd post this for anyone interested. Nice RC model of a Vietnam era PCF I Swift Boat. It's 1/24 scale but I know some on here have collected Elite Force and PTE boats that are under scale but usable with 1/18 figures. Boat is 24 inches long and has decent detailing and the added fun of being...

Re: Merit 1:16 Scale M-ATV MRAP Vehicle!
hm......well, I was hoping that Merit goofed in calling it 1/16 or were trying to sell a 1/18 vehicle as 1/16 in some kind of marketing ploy. However, if it's 1/17 that's half the battle I suppose. :) The prebuilt model is pretty hard to find now, but I assume the Trumpeter 1/16 kit is the same mold...

Re: Merit 1:16 Scale M-ATV MRAP Vehicle!
Digging up an old thread. Did anyone ever measure the Merit MRAP? It sure doesn't look like it's 1/16 scale to me, despite what it says on the box. Seems smaller.

16 to choose from in all. These appear to me 3d printed kits. Several to choose from. No quoted dimensions so can't verify scale but if true could be an interesting find. Chap Mei Exobot
Not sure if this is new or not but it's new to me. A fairly large Mecha (13 inches tall) by Chap Mei. At first I thought it looked pretty goofy but after watching a brief video of it it's kind of fun.. People who are into future war stuff might like it for custom fodder. Could even find a place with...

i hadn't seen the Death Korps of Krieg figures before. They are pretty neat. Great, now I have some more stuff to get. Thanks a lot. :lol All of the other Joytoy lines, except the realistic military figs, could easily belong in the Warhammer universe. In Warhammer, there are millions of planets and ...

Re: Are Joytoy's Darksource and Battle for the Stars figs made up?
thanks, Tman. Joytoy's Warhammer figures are fantastic. When I first looked at them I thought they were weird looking (design-wise) but I kept going back and looking at them....and now have 2 on the way. :) Lots more i'm interested in too. They are pricey though and I've learned to shop around as pr...

as an aside, the Russians used P-40B's in significant numbers early in the war. A repaint of a 21st Flying Tigers would be the easiest, but any would act as a good base for repainting.

Re: Scratch Built 1/16 PT Boat
the dumas kit is 1/20 scale and there's another in 1/24 ....both do look a bit different from that model. I have no idea where he got the figures but they plus the detailing makes me believe it's 1/16. If you look at the build log pictures it looks larger than the dumas models to me. Could be a scam...
