Sorry, just attempting to address some of the concerns about the fin fillet in the latest photos but not in the earlier ones.

Also here's the missing link.

IIRC the fin fillet was due to the a/c becoming unstable when in some configuration/airspeed conditions, this was true of most models. When a fix was found, it was incorporated into all new construction and kits supplied for field installation on airframes still in service. ""One report stated: “Unl...

OK, went to the way back machine and it looks like the rebranding was to be Museum Military Miniatures. Still too generic for Google.

I hope things work out OK.

I understand he was rebranding to "Modern Military Miniatures" or something like in order to get Toys out of the business name and concentrate on one-off high commission items. His stuff is real good, no doubt about it. To generic to Google, but I understand that MTS is/was (as of 6 months ago) one ...

Thanks, would "floating" the decal, using micro-sol, onto the surface make any difference?

I'd thought it was Monkey Depot, but when I'd just checked, there was no mention of John's Stuff. It coulda been someone else or they just don't have them anymore. Yeh, while composing this I googled "John's Stuff Decals" and the hits are for Monkey Depot. These look like pages no longer linked from...

I'll try to post some photos with this guy hanging around with the rest of the fleet. Right now I'm looking around for a longer USP cable and extension cord for my MFD, the only thing I have with a slot for the camera ferndocker.

SkyWorks Shangra La

I just received this and it is absolutely beautiful. The exterior is just about as perfect as can be from the painting and markings to nice touches like the exhaust staining and guns. Unexpected was the "office" with improvements from the radio to a proper gun sight!

Very nicely done all around!!

The BBI Pearl Harbor Japanese Navy pilot (Sakai?) is pretty hard to find and MIB has gone for $100 or more.

Though in this case it went for $85.

Why don't some of you just quit beating around the bush and say what you feel , you don't like Jack, his stuff is too expensive for you, you feel obligated to crap on him. I of course won't be joining in this lottery. The most sincerest good luck to all that have or will. The only thing that I'll comment on is that the rules for this lottery have already changed once since interest has been shown. The original limit was 35 people. After several folks indicated interes...

I'd offered to deal with them myself over mine, since it's only right. He gave me the good news that mine is ok. But it is taking tim...
