Re: Are there 2 different Power Team patrol boats?

Not certain, but I think the one without seats is the same as the one in your first link. The swimmers lay down just inside and roll over the side to disembark.

Re: Are there 2 different Power Team patrol boats?

Most of the parts are the same, but each has it's own also. The mounting holes for the most of the same parts are in different locations on the hull. This photo shows better then I can explain. Pardon the dust.

Re: Are there 2 different Power Team patrol boats?

I just took a look at mine, they're different. If you want both you'll need to get one of each. You can't get two of the same and built both from it.

Re: More 1/72 Ebay items

Hope no one here minds my posting this here. So far selling has been successful, everything has sold, and word of the weird and wacky aircraft I'm listing seems to have gotten around. Less then one day into the latest, I've several bids in the twenties and thirties with *lots* of folks watching. The...

Re: My Recent 1/48 Aircraft Completed

Thanks Epap, The Ki-9 is painted in post WWII Indonesian markings, between when they just painted the lower half of the Japanese roundel white (used on aircraft left abandoned after the war) and the currant pentagon. I've a Tamiya "Pete" lined up for the first and am still looking for a Classic Airf...

More 1/72 Ebay items

I've officially moved onto 1/48, so all the 1/72 stuff I'd held onto for the last 20 years now will be going.

My Recent 1/48 Aircraft Completed

These are the most recent models I've managed to complete. I'm no master modeler, but with the durth of 1/18, I've taken it up again after 20 years. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t223/chunks_album/IMG_0683.jpg http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t223/chunks_album/IMG_0681.jpg http://i161.photobu...

1/72 Ebay kits

My first foray into Ebay. Still learning to sell. It's time to pass on my 1/72 collection. At 15/week if they always sell, should only take 2 or 3 years!!

Thanks everyone, I do miss 1/18. Worry about it? I guess not too much. There's just too many options.

Re: do you ever worry about your hobby?

 Granch sir, I'm always at home. During the holidays, I'm home even longer. My alarms are three very noisy and hostile domesticated mini-lions. NWarty, here's some more arty in 1/6 and 1/144. Woulda been nice if any of these came out in 1/18 though. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t223/chunk...

Re: do you ever worry about your hobby?

1/18 was what got me back into these hobbies. It'll be back someday. Since the hobby got started again, I'd gone into 1/6, but it to has become lacking due to few original releases. I'm now collecting 1/48-50 until something new comes along. So far that's only been in 1/6 but still scarce. Some 1/48...

Weird, they're offering some recently released 1/6 stuff just from a quick glance. Namely the Soldier Story Iwo marine and tank traps.

Doesn't make sense.

Sounds too much like an avoid to me.

Are my eyes right? At about the 2:15 mark, are those WWII era bombs on those Intruders? I think your eyes might be right. WWII era bombs were sometimes used on Navy strike aircraft in 'Nam. Don't know if you recall the USS Forrestal disaster where 500 pounders and other ordnance started ccoking off...

Owe, I'm sorry to hear that. Doesn't help, but take a look at the feedback he's left. Leaving negative feedback seems to be his specialty.

Does ebay have a way to report what seems to be just his way of doing business?

The link says it was painted British Dark Green instead of American Olive Drab. Anyone know the difference, or have an example, or maybe state an example of what the difference is? I appreciate Chunks efforts to prove that the fin extension is legit. :) I had no idea they retrofitted them in the fi...

Now I'm confused. According to this site (http://www.swissmustangs.ch/7215.html) Charles "Chuck" Weaver flew another plane with the same codes (G4A) which is not PW. Found this last night also, just didn't think of including it. It has the markings for both ships and a photo of the second you menti...

A little bit more on the fillet. According to this site, the fillet was added when the a/c was assigned to Captain Charles E. "Chuck" Weaver from Major Arval J. Roberson. But who knows on exact timing. http://www.mustang.gaetanmarie.com/profiles/passionwagon/paswag.htm Please let me know if I'm beat...
