Popeye,
Thanks and I'll take a look over there after work. I've watched three F-16's that I was about to pull the trigger on, slip away from me this week alone. :(

Wanted: Bbi F-16

Gentlemen, I started collecting late in the game and have had a difficult time trying to locate a F-16, apart from Ebay. I'm looking to buy a Bbi F-16, squadron isn't important if it was a BCA edition, but a 8th FW, Pusan, ROK "Wolfpack" would be nice. I'm currently deployed overseas, so this item w...

Flugewerke, Thank you very much for the reply and insight. Hands down, the Focke-Wulf FW190A4-8 is my favorite aircraft of WWII. I have a Squadron Signal "In Action" series book from 1985 with me to this day in my desk and spent hours as a child drawing FW's from R. Watanabe's "The Great Book of WWI...

Thanks Scout, 500 bucks for a nose piece and gear seems a little overboard and to think there may be more issues. I saw NO cockpit photos on the SW website which leads me to believe there's no modifications done in the front office. Sure is a pretty exterior model though. Meh, maybe it's time to ret...

Anyone here own a Skyworks Focke-Wulf?

Hey guys, Seeing that 21C is going T/U and the lack of 1/18 FW-190 A series out there, I came across the Skyworks models at MTS yesterday. Can anyone here tell me if they own one and what is the level of detail that goes into a $400-500 model? - Is the cockpit upgraded? - Any additional aerials besi...

I hear ya TTT,
Even though they may not be 21C, I'm picking up the Catmouth F6F and A6M next week :D

It's been a while since I bought any 1/18 planes but with a B-Day right around the corner, Battlemama 6 gave the go-ahead

Well, my Panther arrived at the house yesterday back in Washington State. Too bad I have to wait till R&R in April to see her.

Just happy I bit the bullet and got her when I did.

By the way. This is my first 1/18 scale armor purchase, as I'm mostly an aviation nut. I couldn't pass up the price, or the fact that 21C MAY go T/U. All I've seen are the promo pics of the tank in its "ambush" color scheme. Can anyone here point me to some better pics of the 21C Ausf. G model and t...

The Skyraider is our father’s aircraft. How can we not produce the Skyraider? It will be made. Hopefully it will be completed and delivered by Father’s Day of next year. That is my goal.
insert Homer Simpson drool sound here:

Mmmmm....Skyraider....

VMF, Thanks for the welcome! I guess one of the biggest things that does it for me with the bbi Marine Dream is the pilot. Probably the best looking figure I've seen yet, hands down. My only gripe is the droopy flaps (especially the middle section that seems to fall off all the time). But it'...

Hey guys, first post here. I'm fairly new to 1:18 collecting and currently only have four aircraft in my 1:18 collection (21c Graf 109G-6, 21c Chinese Mig, bbi Marine Corsair and bbi Killer P-51D). Several others in various scales from DML, FOV, (5-star PX/BX relabeled line) and 21c. Out of all of t...
