Exactly; with a mix of accessories from 21st, BBi, and especially Dragon (mostly weapons and helmets), these guys will look great.Jesse James wrote:I can see mixing/matching their gear with 21st, and making some pretty damn awesome looking figures.

Ourwar World War II: WWII German Soldiers up for pre order!
I apologize if this is in the wrong place, but I thought starting a new thread might get more attention than just simply posting the link in the discussion thread. These figures are up for pre order at BBTS for $79.99, and are estimated to be released in the first quarter of 2014. Great news! http:/...

Re: OURWAR WW2 German on shelf Dec.13!
Any idea if online stores like Big Bad Toy Store will be carrying these? They currently have pre orders for the modern US Airborne figures, but these Germans haven't popped on their page yet.

Re: merit Announcment
Since Jim hasn't said anything about it being previously shown other then a "all new tooling" a Harrier jet would be in this case fair game. Its also a twin exhaust and somewhat modern dating back to the early 1980's. If the single seat theory holds true then the Harrier would certainly make the to...

Fritz, is the vest on that USMC figure a modified vest from the Desert Ambush Duke figure from RoC wave 1? It looks like you added those pouches and the holster. Regardless, the figure looks great. I've been on a modern military kick these days, and have been doing some of my own customs. Have you c...

Man, if we FINALLY get some WWII Russian figures, that would be the biggest 1/18 news in years. On that same note, I would LOVE to get some modern Russian figures, too. Playing BF3 has me wanting to build some conceptual WWIII dioramas.

Re: What is the most desired 1/18th figure never produced?
I too always hold onto a small bit of hope that someday 1/18 WWII figures will make a return, but I honestly see no honest chance of it happening. AllGo! was our last hope, and they simply up and vanished, and no one seems to know what happened. FoV won't make them since Target told them "no" to WWI...

I say Russian soldiers would have made the most sense. Didn't TKO (that is his screen name, right? It's been a while since I've seen anything from him so I could be off on the name) say that 21st had plans to make Russians, or a Russian machine gun crew, or something?

Re: Anything good showing up at TRU or Target this season?
Recently, I have almost completely devoted my buying habits to Marvel Legends figures. The selections for any sort of quality military toys has taken a serious nose dive. I found myself wanting some new modern military figures (because I played through yet another crappy CoD game), and didn't even b...

Re: I can confirm that the Ghost Recon figures are cancelled
I didn't think the line looked all that great, personally. I picked up one of the Crysis figures, and was disappointed. The AC figures looks pretty rough in the package. I'm not all that surprised to hear this, really. It's still lame, though. Any loss to the scale is bad.

Re: OURWAR FIGURES
I'm guessing those Germans are meant to be from the Eastern front? The short/rolled up sleeves remind me so many photos from Russia. Plus, that would make sense, since the company has hinted at making other armies -- like the Russians. Either way, these really don't look that bad. The faces are a li...

Re: TOY HUNTERS cable special on collecting now a series! 1:
I think the host is a douche. I kept the pilot on as background noise, so I only paid attention to parts of it...but, I seem to recall him making a few inaccurate statements about the toys he was picking up, as well. If you want a good toy/comic show, watch Kevin Smith's Comic Book Guys, instead. It...

This is one of the tougher elite force figures to get along with Hadley and Ben Robinson etc. but really  I am looking for one still and will have to pass on this one. Damn. I have Hadley, Robinson, Lynch, Davies, and even Delgado. I got all of them except Delgado at a TRU in like '08. I paid ...

yes the 'gangster' version, ie drum fed thompson, was used in wwii, especially in the early stages. Later it was replaced with the stick type clip. What's his face uses a drumfed Thompson in the opening scene of Windtalkers. Yeah, and weren't the drumfed versions only used in the Pacific, and by th...
