It is just testing waters I'm sure... I mean, honestly I could get into a futuristic military toy line. Someone mentioned something akin to the Colonial Marines from Alien(s) series. I wouldn't turn my nose to XD versions of those figures, but the poses and faces would definitely cut out a lot of my...

I did the best I could to enhance the photo, which isn't particularly well, but I'd bet dollars to donuts on Japanese on at least a couple of those. I think the bottom row, 2nd in from right is a Japanese officer... or at least a guy in a cap. The two to HIS left appear to have helmets of a Japanese...

One guy's got the blades on his arm too. T he more I look at those, the more I wonder. I'll take a sci-fi military line or something, but... I'd take WW2 figures galore first. :P It looks like a "What if WW2 didn't end in '45" kinda offshoot toy line... Weird thought, but, hey whatever... Custom fod...

http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cgi?setup_file=fignews2.setup&category=actionfigures&topic=66&show_article=52 This from Figures.com explains the "Sahara" movie, incase it hadn't been covered (didn't notice when breezing through this thread). Lotta repainted stuff for the film (3 vehicles) an...

There's lots of parts mixed into those figures that are, without a doubt, quite plainly reused Star Wars parts... They're likely just prototypes, mock-ups, etc... Things that "big kids" like to use in place of the term "customs" because they make their figures as a way of getting the gist across to ...

If it weren't for them charging tax, and sorta spiking shipping, the $6 figures would be a godsend... I wanted the one plane, and ordered a BotB set of figures (the large set with Patton's), and some extra idnividual figures... It really worked out. They really REALLY should try and make ordering a ...

Since I don't HAVE a Mustang and I doubt I'd find one from 21st since their stuff's non-existant anywhere but online (Finally got a Spitfire only because SBP put one version on sale... Don't even know what version it is, I just wanted a Spitfire and am hoping it's a European Theatre or African Theat...

BBI Marines, Wave 2? (and other new BBI stuff)
I went into a local Toys R Us store the other day looking for Star Wars figures, and I was surprised to see new BBI product... not terribly surprised by the pilots and the guys with the berets now, as they've hit here in Pittsburgh in full force, but... I was surprised to see "new" Marines. They're ...

I got a Stuka for $25 that was trashed... The canopy's smashed incredibly, but I found every shard of it... Beyond that the plane's actually just complete and in good enough shape... Oh the one prop's snapped off. It's a complete plain though (the pig one), and I was pondering doing a plane that cra...

I too would like to say thanks... It's nice to see you guys taking a personal approach to discussing things with people here. Brian, thanks for stopping in... I'd actually like seeing more detailed shots of your building, as I too (like Flayrah) have considered buying several for multi-storied building or something I can customize. I actually wanna fit it into my Star Wars diorama-ing though. Hope your company starts tweak...

In Pittsburgh, there's only remnants of past items and some Grey Tigers lying about. I would LOVE a winter Tiger, but have a grey one... I'm debating just doing a paintjob since I love the feel of the heavy steel Tiger I's, grey or white... Never seen a white one though. BBI's "new" figures are floa...

Ironically, tonight I found the beret'd figures at a local TRU too... So this junk's still filtering down. These figures are substantially better made than the original USMC's were. Their joints are more rigid and don't pop apart easily. They had the desert blackhawk pilot (is there only one? He's a...

Everything BBI's ever shown has been purchaseable at one point or another, so on that note I'm pretty content with their efforts. 21st's not even in the same caliber in my book then, at least on this issue. I saw the green suited chopper pilots and Wave 2 accessory sets in my area now, so those thin...

Forum Problem: Re-Signing In Each Visit?
Hey P-51, Just wanting to get a notice out that, I dunno what everyone else is running into, but every time I leave the forums I'm asked to re-log into the forums upon my return visit... Even if I click the "Log me in" box when I sign in. Since the sign-in feature's right there on the main index, it...

I'm just happy to see SOMEONE doing SOMETHING with the WW2 genre other than freakin' airplanes. Planes are big, costly, and I have no more space for these things unless they're REAL special... And real special hasn't been 21st's motto on planes from my POV personally. This Sherman could wow us with ...

Congrats on a seemingly instant success P-51. My only gripe, thus far, is that I have to relog in every visit I've made. That's annoying... VERY annoying. I've clicked the option to log me in automatically, but it's not working or the settings changes require a relog in. Not sure... Hopefully it's n...

I like to consider myself one of the "old-timers" from GP's site... Actually I recall when it was started even, so I'm pretty sure I'm one of the originals from there... Just checking in, saying my hello's and acknowledging that I've signed on. I still say that for this forum to gain more recognitio...
