Looks like we may be in store for some new armour from 21c as well. On the old board is a report that the upcoming M113 was displayed in VIETNAM colours and comes with two figures AND that 21c debuted a 1/18 Jagdpanther....if i am intupretating LaughingG's post correctly.

There are 1/18 or close to 1/18 die cast fuel trucks available from Solido and probably other companies as well. They are based on pick up truck chassis from the 30's and 40's.

Search on ebay for '1/18 truck' and 'solido truck' and you should find some.

Ski..are there any problems you've noticed with other parts of the F-18 sagging due to the soft plastic? Wings drooping, for example?

While i have used 10lb test line for the most part, i would agree with Ski and use 20lb. In fact from now on i plan to. I had my Apache crash several months ago using 10lb. The stuka is lighter but better safe than sorry, especially when the thickness difference between 12 and 20lb is so minor. Bein...

BBi F-16 Viper/Falcon Official Thread

Here's a thread from another board which contains two pictures of the production version of the upcoming BBI F-16. Canopy tint looks a bit dark, otherwise it's a beauty..

Ski....i have planned to make a couple of custom groundcrewman and strategically place them under the fuselage to help support the planes weight. Do you think this is feasible or do you think stronger support is needed?

mm.......looks good. I wish they'd given it a dark yellow base coat instead of dark grey but nevertheless it's a nice looking piece. Well, with the big news from BBI and some nice repaints from 21c things are looking up, armour-wise. Bout time too...

Looks good. I'm waiting for some brave soul to post pics of a 190D with the cowl flaps cut and bent into the open position, as would be seen when the plane is using maximum power. Looks cool. I am not such a brave soul, however.

nah that doesn't count. That was more of a fix; the nose cap on the 109 spinner is an accuracy enhancement, which we have not seen before on a repaint.

read the last line of what? I feel like i'm missing out on something here.. I think they should have started with a Pershing, very sought after and different from a Sherman. I am hunching they started with a sherman since it's safe, American (ie not german) and a better basis for other model...

i wonder where they are planning on selling these? TRU is getting out of the toy business, as i understand it and even if they don't i can't imagine they will want to carry items like this again, after their experience with 21c. Besides, they still have the 'no german' policy as far as i know. I can...

I note that in BCA's picture the spinner has a little nose cap on it, as it should have. If this is true for the final product this would be the first time a repaint has been issued with a structural change, albeit a modest one. This picture is definitely of the 21c 109 as it has the chubby look and...

Holy crap........a frickin sherman. We've got a frickin' sherman....lol. Still this is probably great news, as long as they don't make a panther, tiger, two half tracks and then stop production. :?

How did you find this picture and are there any others?

They've had a lot of new armour in the works for years...they aren't releasing it because they don't believe it will sell well/ can't find a major retailer to carry it. My hope is (and their plan) that the armour repaints will sell well and encourage brand new items. I'm certain the winter tiger wil...
