BBi figures on sale at TRU

Move this if necessary----don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but TRU online has at least three BBI modern figures for 70 CENTS EACH.

Go get 'em.

I'll second that. Producing WWI planes without all the wire bracing would be more than enough. Customizers would have a blast adding that stuff to their models.
Man, I really like that idea.

But don't give away your intentions---just surprise us.

Size got me into this. The kid in me will always go nuts over the size of these models. The impressive levels of accuracy and detail will keep the so-called adult in me interested.
But don't let anyone tell you different----size matters.

Damn, he's right. They've got 21st's name plastered all over the listing, and not a single mention of BBI.
Methinks (or hopes) they got a less-than-knowledgeable employee to write up the listing...

I guess it's the relative absence nowadays of aircraft with those old engines that helps make them sound so cool to us now. That, and they just sound like power to me. I still cannot imagine what it must have sounded like when hundreds of heavy bombers massed for missions during WWII. To those on th...

Don't know if this will help any, but...
Here are a couple of sites with tons of F-104 info. The second site also has a slew of starfighter pictures in the service of multiple countries.

I know this is a totally unrealistic suggestion, but I would kill for a bright yellow Grumman Ag-Cat biplane.
I grew up with those things spraying the sugarcane all around where I lived. That's probably where my love of radials started...

I also noticed the wing sag on my Avenger when I assembled it, and I found a really quick and easy fix: Clear packing tape. I pushed the top front wing halves snugly together (like I'm guessing they were supposed to fit) and then put a short piece of tape across the joint (see pics). The tape I used...

Thanks for the info. I originally started buying 21st's 1/18 aircraft to try using them as models from which to do illustrations. While many of them have an innacuracy here and there, I must admit the size and quality can't be beat for the price. A little research is all that's needed to correct any...

21st Messerschmitt 109E question

Okay, I know this has been covered before, so I'll apologize in advance, but after searching old topics I decided that asking this question again might be better---well, easier anyway. (At the least, everybody gets one more chance to show their knowledge). I just picked up a 21st Me 109E-4(nightfigh...

Can you guys handle yet another Jeffrey?

Hello to all. It appears that I'm not the only Jeffrey who has been trying to join but couldn't. I've had to make do with lurking here for a good many months, and have been very pleased with the wealth of information this board and it's members have been able to share. I've been collecting 1/18th sc...
