zimmermit

Here is the easiest was to apply zimmermit . Forget about the solder irons and the quick epoxy. Use tile mastic !! Thats right. You need to use multi purpose mastic. The paint on the model is arylic. Mastic is an arylic. The mastic can go on with a small notch trowl ,saw tooth , screw driver what ha...

Are you fixing this for someone else or for yourself? For $200 that is a good deal. I think I paid $375 for my first and $350 for the second and had shipping on that to boot. The first was new and the second had one of the front bogies broken off and a few handles missing. Both off of e-bay.

Ho 229 and V-1

Hey Guys, My mind is always constantly thinking of new projects. Too bad I can't finish the old ones. Some one else said that he would like the Horten 229 flying wing. This has always been one of my favorites . The wing never flew. That all depends on who is telling the story. When the G I's found i...

I do 1/18 and 1/16. Those FOV Tigers are too hard to resist. I have 2 of the first issue King Tigers one of the second and just got the Wittman a month or so ago. Missed the board when it was up last. I was in the out side mode and could not get in. I do have one T-34/85 R/C to keep the Germans at b...

The Wildcat's gear would be a lot easier to do if it were done with removable gear. A stiff static pair that can be removed with closing doors and fake slash half wheels showing. Operating landing gear would be a task that would never hold up under the first time that it is moved.

Hello Aferg thanks for the reply. If there was a Mosquito on e-bay that was true on scale 1/18 and done with the same detail as the XD BUT done in wood , would this be a turn off because it was not made in plastic or resin? That is if you were to buy anything off of e-bay.

I am in. But mine is on its way to Tallahassee. I can't get it re-routed till it arrives there and then they will ship it back to New Orleans. Being an ex refugee is not all that fun. A third of my mail still goes to Fla. It is no fun when the bills are late and you have no idea were they are to pay...

plastic or not to plastic

Hello Guys, My last listing went bye bye. Any way ,I know we all would like to have every piece of armor and plane that we have thought and dreamed about made by the 3 big players. 21st, Admiral and BBI. Well it probably won't happen. The only other option is to make your own. This can be done with ...
