I agree in full. They should have done it instead of putzing around with the F-104.

The original paint master is from s.SS PzAbt 501, fighting in France. It should have zimmerit, i believe.

But apparently they're changing the paint scheme?

The King Tiger, they has it!

Well, the Mustang is what i'd actually want, a non-bare one.

Now the important bit, pricing.

Most if not all of the FOV ammo boxes seem to be / look like U.S. 50 cal. ammo boxes. I have both the U.S. 50 cal. and German MG-34, 42 7.92x57mm ammo boxes in 1:1 the 50 cal. is wider. All the FOV 1:18th look like they are to wide to be German. I don't think I've seen a German MG-34/ 42 ammo box i...

when it comes to features the FoV one is a turd, but at least it has zimmerit. the driver hatches don't even open on the FoV tank. 21stC has full interior and even engine detail While this is true, in a way, the Unimax one is at least mostly correct for it's production type. And a good painting wil...

The detail on the 21st/JSI is finer, it has more individual pieces, plus it has the interior feature.

I think JSI is asking on the high side, all factors (1:16 r/c, availability of older 21st Tigers) considered.

Is the owl the one with the spotlight? I went to a museum and there was an 88 and next to it was a huge spotlight painted in the same color. I was planning on making one to match my 88 but hopefully, I can just buy it. The Uhu was an I/R spotlight. Without seeing it, i'd say the one next to the 88 ...

Gun blown all to hell, TOWs broken off. I've got a busted Hydra pod, too. Without the benefit of a 5 foot drop.

I MUCH prefer Bbi's plastic.

All the ones in the 1:18 section are marked as such, any way to be certain?

All German tanks before a certain date (someone will step in and let us know) came from the factory gray.

It really doesn't matter, though, as 21st's Tiger is a frankentank with features from all stages of the Tiger's production life.

Again, just look for the gray Tiger and do not repaint the cammo one. They always seem cheaper on ebay than the cammo ones. I don't have a closeup picture of mine at the moment, but I will say that it does have some nice subtle mud/rust weathering in spots and 21c did a good job giving it a worn an...

I'm not following you. I didn't say anything about Bbi's quality (better than 21st's, deal with it.) What i said is that Bbi doesn't rely on 1:18 as it's bread and butter, therefore it can do (or not do) 1:18 whenever they choose. Personally i'd take some news from Bbi about 1:18 goings-on as more i...

Maybe this news will kick BBI in its fourth point of contact to start making some new stuff. Competition is a good thing :D Which I wager BBI's sitting around thinking just like me...
