Re: 1:72 Collecting Question

Dauntless, Sorry to hear about your trouble with Toy Federation, I feel kinda bad as I tipped you off to them Hope things will end well and you get your money back or they come good with your Wildcat. Re: SCAM ALERT

Sorry to hear about this Bigsarge Hopefully its just the customs delay and he'll get the item in less then a week. By opening a pp dispute, this has to be resolved in a week's timeline? Doesn't give you much leeway or time to let this sort thru. It would've been nice if Paypal is able to disclose wh...

Very nice display Astronut 8) Its almost like a convention, all the major manufacturers represented  I like that its not cluttered, very carefully thought out. Do you have more planes boxed up waiting for their chance at their T.O.D (Tour of Display) rotation? [Cat]CplSlade, That F9F is from a ...

Re: Just About Priced Me Out of the 1:72 Scale Market

Totally agree with everyone here especially Tparkhere, I collect planes and armor and I now make the very same comparisons and think planes gives a better bang for the buck, though planes are also rising in costs by the same margins too I'm so regretting not getting more Dragon Armors before my loca...

Shattered Sword - The Untold Story of the Battle of Midway

Shatter Sword - The Untold Story of the Battle of Midway (2005) by Jonathan Parshall & Anthony Tully I've just finished reading this book and highly recommend it A very detailed analysis of the battle (from the IJN side). Lots of research done, mostly drawing from Japanese sources. Almost minute by ...

Voted for the regular green if you're really intent on giving it a new paintjob, tiger stripe is just a bullet magnet

Would you consider an Ocktober Guard Scheme? kinda painted like a Hind? That'd be the new post cold-war lend/lease arrangement to fight Cobra

I see we both have the same tastes 8) I've archived some of the same pics myself and thanks for the great link The thing is Altaya usually does just one scheme for each release, most likely splinter camo for the Viggen, so hopefully they'd make an exception and release extra variants, like their Mir...

Holy Macaroni! What a Beaut! Dauntless, the Ki-84 do appear on ebay once in a while, will give you a heads up if I see it Cgj476, seems the Storch in both variants is still plentiful so you might want to wait around for clearance sale and get both? Or you can get one now and wait for the 2nd to go on sale. I always find myself ...

Re: Noticeable difference between 1/72 and 1/80 scale F-14s?

It may not be that noticeable if you stagger your display pieces, maybe camouflage a little bit by displaying on its own or with other planes other then a 1/72 F-14, or play around with depth/height perspective. This scheme might not be done by 1/72 manufacturers for a long time (maybe Witty might?)...

Snake is right, just be patient, HM will eventually release more Helldivers with the closed flap due to demand sooner then later. Thanks for the pics and review PH :D That black/grey color sure looks very cool and sleek, sure wished it was half the price (I know, I know, its 2012 market) On the stub issue, how does the saving money work? The stub is now casted with the main fuselage, which reduces the parts molded but that mea...
