Re: Calling for hints/tips on detailing a BBI 1/18 AH-64 Lon
I am in the process of acquiring a 3D computer printed M-230 30mm Cannon to replace the BBI one. (Neither of the Apache donors that I have, came with one :( It will NOT be cheap by any means). it has to be done though. I am expecting the Radome from Pickelhaube in either this weekend or next week. I...

Re: 3D Printed ALQ-144 Radar Jammer
Pizzaguy,
Paypal payment sent this morning with shipping info.
I have a question for you. Would this material be used to print out the front sensors for the BBI Apache? Just curious, as I am detailing on of them.
Thanks in advance,
Jack

Re: Calling for hints/tips on detailing a BBI 1/18 AH-64 Lon
tman, I have purchased another BBI Apache for parts and am thinking of tackling some, if not all of the changes needed. Seeing how I have two complete canopies, that might make that task more "doable" than not having two of them to work with. I am not sure what the side panels are called on both sid...

Re: PTE Recons
tman, I had a similar experience with trying to order from M&C Toy Centre like you did and nothing came of it like you did. I wish that werent the case as they do have a lot of nice stuff. I am placing an order with Marauder this week, for the first time. I am sure that I will have a much better tim...

Re: Canopy Masks
LOL I understand your feeling on the tiny Photo-etch parts, as I just lost the Bipod legs of two Printed M-60's while washing a group of detail parts, before painting them. I have learned that valuable lesson the hard way! I have to LOL or I'd lose what little bit is left of my mind. LOL

Re: Canopy Masks
Whenever I have used them in the past, I always applied the curved/contoured ones on by aligning the flat or straight edges to the canopy first. They will fit perfectly to the curved/contoured areas once you do that. I hope that this advice helps.

Re: 3D Printed ALQ-144 Radar Jammer
Pizzaguy, I have checked my settings and have tried to change them, to no avail. I have tried logging out, then logging in. I have made the changes and then logged out and then again logged. Still the changes have not taken effect. I have no idea what to do about this.

Re: Calling for hints/tips on detailing a BBI 1/18 AH-64 Lon
Tman, I really appreciate your information on this. I am NO authority on this by any means and am very happy to have anyone in the "Know" of these A/C to point me in the right direction. I had no idea about the differences between the 64A and the D Longbow. I did know about the wrong side of the coc...

Calling for hints/tips on detailing a BBI 1/18 AH-64 Longbow
I will be ordering one of the Pickelhaube Longbow Radomes, for the beginning of this conversion/detailing of the AH-64. I know that there must be a lot of details that can be added to this but don't really know where to start. I have looked at photos and have seen antennas, sensors, etc. I figured I...

Re: Very very nice custom F14s
I understand custom made and painted would increase the value some, but $4,000.00? This is just not fir me. I believe these to be way over priced. At least for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, they are very nice looking Tomcats.

That is one really nice Cobra! I am happy to hear that you are able to crew both of yours. I know that is not easy to find the right figures when you are in need of them. Thanks for sharing the photos with us.

Looking for a .50 wih cradle mounting
Would anyone have a spare that they would be willing to sell? I need one to replace the one that came on top of the M-48 Patton Cupola. The M2 .50, I can replace, the cradle what I am not really able to find. If you know where I could get one, I would really appreciate it!
Many Thanks,
Jack

Re: New Mods - 21c M-113 Customized to a Vietnam War M-113 A
Thank you for the information on this. I have found some stowage items on E-bay and will look for the Build A Rama ammunition cans. I ordered the rear fenders and the spare road wheel that you used on your M-113. The fencing that you want to add, was indeed for protection. It was erected around the ...

Re: M-113 APC upgrade Storage Rack Feedback Needed
My M-113 arrived this past Sunday. The stowage had already been stripped off of it and a couple of them were included with the APC, along with a couple of the tools. I have a complete set of tools, so they will not be an issue. I filled in all of the holes on the upper hull, both sides and front and...
