I am selling a 21st 1/18 Scale P-47 Donnie Boy for $90 shipped within the US. The box window is seperated on the right hand side but it still displays well in the box if that is your thing. SOLD. FS Flying Styro B-25 kit $175 shipped SOLD.
I am thinking about selling my Flying Styro B-25 kit. It is unbuilt and still new in the box. I don't need to sell it, but I would like to finish my computer build so if someone is willing to pay $175 shipped within the U.S. it's yours. This is the super detailed version of the kit and I will try to...

Looking for scale 3 view drawings.
I am looking for a set of scale 3 view drawings of a P-47N Thunderbolt. They can be 1/32, 1/48, or 1/72 but they must be scale and must depict the N variant with the longer wingspan and clipped wings. I found some sites online but when I printed out a couple different sets of 1/72 scale drawings fro...

Re: So...what's next for Merit?
My personal wish is a P-39, but I know I am in the minority on that wish. Of the popular warbirds I would like a FW-190, Hurricane or Tempest. Of the lesser known warbirds my choices would be a KI-44, Yak-3 or KI-84.

1/18 R/C F-104 Build NOT MINE
This build on rcgroups is amazing. The builder made molds of what looks like the 21st Century F-104 and made it a functioning R/C jet. He refers to it as one of those pre made models and I can't imagine what other model it could be. He decided to enlarge the wings to tame the flight characteristics ...

Looks nice. I would have preferred Frenesi but it didn't have that fillet in front of the rudder.

Re: New Merit 1/18 DAUNTLESS DISCUSSION
A model kit will be available with possible third party detail sets being offered? Now that is AWESOME. I have been asking for 1/18 scale kits for years. I love building kits and finishing them with the exact scheme I want. On top of that, there is a possibility of third party detail sets being made...

Re: Converting a balsa RC model into a static model?
Flyboy, I think you will do just fine with this project. You are into RC planes, right? I am not sure if you have ever built a scale balsa RC plane, but people build them all the time. You will just be building a smaller scale using the same plans. In fact, RCGroups has a thread in the Scale Electri...

Here is a thread on RCGroups that was started by the new owner or rep of Flying Styro. I think you can order right from their site. There is a lot of good information in this thread and it comes straight from the owner or rep of the company.

You can never have too many planes. I am in the 75+ club and I would just like to see a greater variety to my collection. Hopefully that will come with time.

Re: 1:20 C-118 on ebay
My Father created moulds just like the one pictured when he built and sold his Quarter Midget RC pylon racers back in the 70's and 80's. Pickel is correct, there would be quite a bit of work involved in assembling any fiberglass kit made from those moulds. If you don't enjoy or possess the skills to...

Re: 21st Century Toys Mourning/Cry Room.
Without 21st Century there would be no 1/18 scale aircraft. They blazed a trail that will hopefully be followed by others. They had a few QC issues but looking at an Avenger or ME-262 in 1/18 scale was something I never thought would be possible. I'm grateful to have been there when they first relea...

Re: New Merit 1/18 DAUNTLESS DISCUSSION
I would like to see them release an unpainted, unassembled kit. That would keep the price down and let me choose the paint scheme I like. Anything north of $100 would likely scare me away or at the very least prevent me from pre-ordering one. Should be interesting to see how this turns out.

Re: RC Plane Talk
Yes, I believe Flying Styro has a new owner and they are trying hard to improve their products, shipping, customer service, etc. There is a thread going on at RC Groups regarding this in the electric warbird section. I think the free shipping on 3 kits is an awesome deal if you have the cash for the...
