Thanks. Who knows, maybe they'll release the Tactical Team figures toward the end of this year.

Re: New Bravo Team Modern 1:18 Figures (sort of)

What ever happened with these? I know that the Recon Team and Infantry Force figures were released toward the end of last year, as I was able to pick up some of them at Target. But the Tactical Team never came out, did it?

Thank you for sharing. What's the story with the BF-109 in your video? Looks like it was pulled from a salvage yard or something.

Re: Flying into the 21st Century! 21st Century Toys

That's very cool. I still have a small, color booklet from 2000 with a bunch of their 1/6 scale figures and vehicles depicted in it. The Bradley really looks nice. When that thing came out, I remember lusting for it at TRU.

Re: FOV SWAT & Fire Fighters?

This is my $3 garage sale fire truck that I'd like to get a crew for. The bucket is missing, but what do you expect for $3?

Re: Post all JOE SCALE discussion here...read first post

Here's a garage sale find from about three years ago. I think I paid $6 for it. The barrel is turned aluminum, the rest is steel, and the wheels are rubber. One of these days I plan to repaint it and change out the wheels. It's a bit of a stretch, but maybe I'll use it as a US 57 mm AT gun. http://s...

Re: Post all JOE SCALE discussion here...read first post

Photos of the True Heroes rescue helicopter that I unpackaged yesterday. Cheap and toyish, as expected, but not bad for what I paid for it. One side (the one that was not displayed in the box) has screw holes in it. I removed most of the stickers right away (with a bit of vegetable oil and elbow gre...

Re: FOV SWAT & Fire Fighters?

I found these Papo figures. No articulation, of course. Does anyone know how Papo figures compare to 1/18 for scale?

Re: FOV SWAT & Fire Fighters?

I guess not! I've been watching the series Rescue Me on DVD and it's caused me to want fire fighter figures. I'm like a friggin' twelve year old - if I read about or watch things on WWII, then I hanker for WWII toys (not that I don't have a bunch already). Or Vietnam, or (insert the battle, war, or ...

Re: Do you guys want a sticky thread for stuff that's offsca

I think it's a good idea, especially since there's not a whole of new 1/18 that we can expect.

Re: going off scale a bit on duplicates to save space

The space issue is a factor for me, too. I like to display one aircraft at a time on my dresser, on an Eagle I-Stand. Most 1/18 aircraft overwhelm that space, but an underscale helicopter like the True Heroes Black Hawk rescue version might fit there nicely.
