You mean the COED with the Marines laying around?
In the box is a brown one, and a brown one is also alone on a stand.

Nice North Africa Sherman repaint too... When somebody gets their new Sherman plaease confirm this is the paint scheme. They show both the Panther & Tiger in the 21c box, and this Sherman as well. They were wrong about the Tiger's paint so they could be wrong about "OD." Any word is appreciated - I...

A-10
There is a kit out there for an A10 that is just slightly larger than 1:18. I have to say I have been tempted to buy it as a display piece. It is under 100 bucks unpainted and is pretty sweet. The real A10 in 1:18 scale would be 35.55555....inches long and the wing span would be 38.333333...... Comp...

Is it just me or does the one in the photo look to have more winter wash on it - but the one below looks just like the WM version. Maybe the flash?

13th man
I was thinking perhaps the 13th guy will be a send-away, or collectable in some way. Maybe the General will be a fan club or other exclusive. Just a thought.

The main problem for me is the scale - I collect 1/18, period.
Second, for 300 bucks it should be PERFECT, and clearly, it's not.
It is good evidence of how expensive armor will sell, and I truly believe a similar (improved?) offering in 1/18 for $100 would sell like crazy.

I did NOT mean to offend. "Uncalled for" is a little too serious of a reply. It was not a cheap shot - my point was, I know people who collect Star Trek, Harry Potter, Simpsons - and they ALL collect more than just one type of merchandise (ie toys). They are not toy collectors, but collectors of the...

Why can't we get a modern GI like that? Is that too much to ask? Just a groundpounder - no Special Ops, no Seals, no BRM, just 1:18 scale version of todays average soldier in the US Army.

Agreed that licensing is the way to go - but this movie has stinker all over it. Jurassic Park 3 meets journey to the center of the earth. Kids will not like this movie. Fans of the book will go see it though, and cult followers will buy anything from coffee mugs to figures, ask the Star Wars guys. ...

Kiowa
Can't tell from these pics, but old pics of the Kiowa looked just like a lil bird with radar on top. There was zero difference in the rest of the bird.
And, has anyone got the new BH? Where are the machine guns? Thanks.

Sahara will be terrible
Licencing is a great idea - when they do Band of Brothers and advertise on Discovery channel, they will realize how right they were. As for SAHARA - that is a terrible idea. That movie is going to be TERRIBLE. An absolute bomb. I hope they are aiming at the European market with that stuff where they...

I don't kow if anybody has pointed out the fact the Super Humvee is convertable. This is an awesome development, and hopefully we will see more of this on other vehicles. What better vehicle to do it on than a humvee anyway....Nice job bbi.

If it opens up like a Tiger I will buy as many as it takes to make it worthwhile for 21C.
Is it just me, or does the M113 look a little bbi like in terms of shiny plastic? That better open up btw...

I'll believe F-18s at tru when I see them too....has anyone even seen the new BH at tru? I have not. As for getting bbi while you can, I think that is perhaps the wrong attitude and is what creates a misguided frenzy. Think about it, there is no bbi aircraft that you can't get if you want. Yes, peop...

It must be noted that the "Killer" marking is very un-pc, which could be a good thing. We don't want them avoiding accuracy for the wrong reasons, although I hear you re: the family.

I want to trade a MIB Original Huey for a Air Cav w/ crew (21st version, not WM). If you are interested please email me at spencienice@hotmail.com. I would also sell the Huey for 55 bucks so I can buy the Air Cav. I also have the following planes for sale: MIB: NKK Spit - 35 Brit Corsair - 45 Winter...

I'd be surprised to see the Mustang at TRU. They're still trying to get p-38s off the shelf. No F-18 ever hit tru (did it?) and I doubt the Mustang will either. That's Ok. I rather good stuff at higher prices with smaller distribution than lousy stuff all over tru (see M1). 55 isn't cheap so I'd exp...

XD armor pushed back
I take it the XD armor has been pushed back one week? I would have sworn the 20th was the date shown for a while & now it's the 27th. Some places that had the pre-order up have taken it down. I might just hold off on the new 21C M4 if only another week after that is the new bbi M4. Aside from the ad...

New 21C Armor & Huey
Were on Pre-order at SBP (and are gone now?) and while they seem to have had the best price for the Sherman (41) they also might have the worst price for the Panther (mid 50s). I would like to just place one order, hopefully when they come back up they come down a bit on the Panther. Either way I ne...

That is a nice price. In the end, the paint scheme & model are only half the issue. I like the fact that they seem to be saying the tank will be more interactive. It was a joke that the driver's hatch on the LAV didn't open, and I hope bbi realized although you can't tell from the photo. Anyway, the...
