.....I have NIB 1/6 scale R/C HUMVEEs that I am willing to trade one of for the LANTIRN pod, and a couple NIB Atlantic Avengers. I have quite a few aircraft I would trade for this part, so if you have a LANTIRN pod to part with, let me know what you may be looking for.... chances are I've got it! -Rob

***WTB*** JSI F-14 "Black Knights" LANTIRN pod

Hey Gang, I'm sure its a long shot, but a shot worth taking any way.... If anyone who has purchased the "Black Knights" F-14 would consider selling the LANTIRN pod that was included in the new weapons load, I will pay top dollar for this particular part if you would like to sell it. Just drop me a P...

Hey Jack,

Are your landing gear sprung like the ones that come on the F-14, or are they stationary? They look absolutely marvelous....much more hefty, like the real ones. Nice work!

The Tomcat made me do it.

Hey gang, just wanted to say a quick hello, and let everyone know that I will be around a bit more since my 1/18 fire has been rekindled. How is that you ask? Well, I have always been partial to the modern aircraft side of 1/18. The one 1/18 A/C I thought I would never see, and my most favorite A/C ...

Hey gang, back from the dead here. The difference in the mechanical workings of the two Humvees is decided by the color you choose, either Desert Sand or O.D. I bought quite a few of these things years ago, and quickly found that the OD version handles far better due to the central placement of the ...

I have disassembled two of my Blackhawks for conversion projects and yes, the fuselages are screwed AND glued together. The best way I have found to separate the two halves is to first remove all of the screw hole plugs. Then, using a large phillips precision screw driver, remove all of the screws s...

I am certainly looking forward to the Pavehawk kit, it is long over due. Things seem to be progressing well and I can't wait to see a few mock-up pics. Put me down for a full kit. Speaking of a Huey stretch kit, something I have always wanted was a UH-1N to go along with my Cobras. Many of the parts...

Re: flying 1/18th blackhawk

Not to break your bubble buy R/C helos are one of the hardest things to learn how to fly. 3 times harder than regular R/C aircraft. Thats an understatement! I am messing with a coaxial trainer right now, while not too bad, can be rather frustrating at times. Check out this link, http://runryder.com...

Afergs description is pretty accurate. As for the texture of the foam, I have found that light weight spackle in built up skim coats hides it well. Lightly sand between coats and you're good to go. If you decide to make parts for the GWS A-10, everything Birddog mentioned would be necessary, and I w...

aferg sold me on the GWS A-10 a while back. It really is worth the $40 even if you have to do a little work to get it looking "right". Its lines, dimensions and proportions look almost dead on. The biggest flaw I see is that the engine nacelle pylons on the model are mounted at 90 degrees to the fus...
