First quarter of '05. My hunch is by the end of January we'll be getting our first sightings of it at WM.

Corgi 1/32 Mosquito at BCA

Don't know if this is old news or not but the corgi mosquito is out. Saw a pic of it at BCA. Comes with extras like ground crew, bomb, stand etc. I think it's an excellent value at the $117 it's listed for. Looks like a beauty.

the sticky thread on this board has F-18's reported at TRU...some as low as $49.99, i believe. I'm sure these will all be snapped up quick, whatever the price.

my it does look nice......and no sunglasses on the pilot! BBI has really turned up the heat on 21c!

I thought they might fix the 'O' and make it a 'Q' as it should be, but it looks like not. My guess is it will be fixed on the next production run..

BCA

i just bought one too. I figured the pre-order price was pretty good and since i don't think we're going to see these at brick and mortar stores i went ahead and ordered one too. Should get here just before Christmas along with my two F-16's. Hee.

i calculate that if i really push it i can hang about 50 planes throughout my place. That excludes the bathroom only. I even have plans to hang a WWI dogfight at either end of my kitchen, if i can ever get the Aurora 1/19 kits (or somebody makes 1/18 WWI planes someday). Now, being single, i am allo...

great news that it's easily backdatable to vietnam! :)

Here are the dimesnions of the real beast, if you want to measure the model and see if it's 1/18 or not.

Length 191.5" >>>>> 10.6 inches in 1/18
Width 105.75" >>>>> 5.8 inches in 1/18
Height 86.5" >>>>>> 4.8 inches in 1/18

some excellent comments in this thread so far. This is one of those issues where there is no easy answer. Seems that some sort of compromise between sensitivity and censorship is needed. It will no doubt always be a grey area...

It's not that simple, Mr. Football, i wish it was as lord knows i am passionate about this hobby. Reading the story says that it was an 80 year old man and a former concentration camp inmate that saw the figures and was upset by them. These people went through something that was far, far, far, far w...

i was watching the business report yesterday and it was again mentioned that TRU is seriously thinking of selling off its toy division, probably to a bulk distributor type firm. TRU shares were up on the news, which is a bad sign if you don't want this to happen. Interestingly, TRU in Canada will be...

I heard about this very briefly on the local news here in Toronto but didn't know what figures they were referring to. I figured they were dragon 1/6 figures, not Plan B 6 inchers. Hopefully, being that this is in canada and basically a local news story, the ripple through affect will have little or...

i wonder why it's not diecast like the recent Motorworks tank reissues? Didn't we see at the Feb Toy Fair an all silver M113 which we assumed meant that it would be diecast. I wonder if there is some diecast but because the APC is smaller than the tiger and sherman it just feels lighter and thus doe...

well first off they wouldn't be in the same scheme. The E has the sand and spinich finish (sand with dark green splotches) and an F or G would be in overall sand. It looks quite different, believe me. Besides they are two very different aircraft both in appearance and in ability. There are lots of d...

i think a desert version is 100% guaranteed to follow at some point. A VERY obvious repaint given that there were early G's in North Africa and that the F and G are very similar in appearance.

And we all know how 21c loves their repaints. :)

failing that you can try the traders forum, maybe you have something that's available in europe that can be traded over here for a winter tiger. Also, try ebay, they should be getting cheap on there. Shipping could be a bit high as this thing is diecast and noticably heavier than the earlier version...
