Re: 1/18 Scale Pavehawk nose sensor thingies

It actually has two versions of the winglets - one with larger winglets that have two weapons pods attachments and a smaller one with only a single attachment (I like the single version and the pictures below are of that). The single version is the one they actually use - I think the double version ...

Re: 1/18 Scale Pavehawk nose sensor thingies

Pickel, Are you talking about the smaller sensors that are angled off 45 degrees - not the larger FLIR and Radome? You already made the FLIR/Radomes a long time ago in both the Army and Airforce versions right? I only want sensors if I can eventually make a DAP version. I know you're sick of me brin...

Re: Any ways to stiffen up a JSI Tomcat? Also, wing mechanis

The wings should work together, so sounds like yours may be messed up. You can put a little super glue on the tabs for loose items and let it dry (off the plane). This adds a layer to the tabs making them more snug when installed and still able to be removed. You can keep adding layers to the tabs t...

Pickel, I'm still holding my breath to do a AH-60L DAP blackhawk. http://i367.photobucket.com/albums/oo111/pcoughran/mh-60l-dap.jpg You got just about everything done except new winglets (shorter version), M230 Chain gun, small nose sensors, and FFAR rocket pods. I have a pavehawk that's been waitin...

If I understand you correctly - you could ship from Minnesota - if that is the case I'm in for a pair at your stated price. If I have to pay for shipping from Philipines, I'm out.

For Sale 1/18 ZODIAC LOWER PRICE

This is an RC (remote control) 1/18ish (probably more like 1/19 or 1/20) Zodiac H733 RIB used by Navy SEALs and other special ops around the world. It is a New Bright brand RC vehicle I got at Toys R Us a few years ago and customized. It is a rather cheap RC boat that runs on 6 AA batteries and the ...

Re: Latest Intel JSI F-14

So they say they are making gear out of better material? Well, the main reason my gear failed is because someone left out the metal rod that is supposed to be inside the main strut on one side. When that gear failed under stress it caused the other gear (which had the metal rod installed) to break w...

Congratulations! I hear ya too! I still need 2 21st planes to complete the collection - unfortunately they are a Spitfire and P-47 bubbletop and they are both fetching extreme prices right now. How do you like Sally's candy treats? It's a nice touch - they've always been my favorite etailer in terms...

Re: Badcat: 1/18 " three new toolings"

Wasn't somebody doing a F100 Super Sabre? With the A-10 from Skyworks that would be 2 new toolings. If the Su-27 ever makes it out that'd be 3. We've seen the JSI Su-27 proto and we know where the A-10 stands, but I'm pretty sure there was a thread with pictures of a proto F100 as well? Personally, ...

Re: JSI F-14 "Black Knights"---who's buying one?

I can't believe they are going to release another F14 with suspect gear. This makes no sense to me, unless they are counting all the "suckers" out there to just live with the poor quality gear? Have they made any improvements to the gear at all? From reading BadCats item description, it seems they d...

Re: 1:18 BBI Black Hawk / Pave Hawk skis

Pickel, I do indeed think your kits add value to the blackhawk/pavehawk if done well by the buyer. I would hope my pavehawk could fetch a decent bit more than the standard pavehawk (which really is only a blackhawk painted in camo). It really didn't take a whole lot of skill to make it an almost one...

Re: UH-60Q Blackhawk

Granch is correct. You should be able to just use a screw driver (Flat tip) to pry on each side alternately till it pops out. You'll have to fill the holes with putty sand and paint. Also, the rear most row comes out basically the same way. I actually popped the rear row out and turned it around bac...

Re: Super Cobra - Snake - how rare/value

Yeah, the prices were fantastic for a while. Unfortunately, this is also why 21st Cent. went belly up. Yeah they got a huge deal with Walmart and Toys R Us to sell their stuff retail, but it required them to produce a ton of product (too much). Afterall, how many kids really want realistic war machi...

Re: Super Cobra - Snake - how rare/value

It seems the latest listings for the Cobras has gone up considerably in the last couple months. Many are listed on Ebay for $350 or more. From my experiences it seems the more rare and most desireable is the camo version (not the snake). I have the snake version and it is a great piece, but it seems...

Thanks Pickel, I still want to do a DAP version of the blackhawk if you ever get enough interest to do the different winglets, chain gun, etc... I saw someone is wanting to do the Blackhawk Skis - that would be cool, but I'm saving my last blackhawk (still in the box) for a DAP gunship. One of these...
