Re: Are there 2 different Power Team patrol boats?

The one with the cockpit at the rear of the boat could be excellent for indian Ocean/Somalian pirates, no seats needed. I had such a project, with the boat stopped, overflew from a Supercobra. But could neither find this version of the boat, nore collect anough black men with very few mil equipment ...

Re: Vietnam PBR

Hello Afferg,
Sorry, not exactly. The 2nd one should be a Navy Seal (Coastal) Mk. V Patrol Boat, look at http://www.navyseal.com/redesigned_patrol_boat/. I couldn't find the other one anymore with goggle.

Re: Vietnam PBR

There is another one, smaller in size that would probably better fit with the Joe's assault boat:

Re: Vietnam PBR

Very nice to see other projects than aircrafts or tanks: there are so few boats here. I've found this excellent custom built with Goggle: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/Different%20customs%20and%20docs/PatrolBoat3.jpg But there should be other models to be made with the GI Joe mode...

Re: Looking to rebuild a 21st Century P-51B - any tips?

Yes, please details of your recipe. I guess that when a P-51 has a bath of oven spray or brake fluid, it will melt, the canopy white and opaque like milk... and one's could finally pour it away???

Price I got for the tanks in Switzerland (through eBay): x 10. For the same price in the USA, I would now have to armoured division and could have need for a helicopter to make some aerial picks :( :( :(

Hi Guys, Pickelhaube is wise to protect his cat from crazy projects. Below my unique real rocket firing (and unique pic if it) with my BBI Little Bird. The special pod burnd out. No cat or dog wounded. No target hit. http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff481/granch/Different%20customs%20and%20docs/D...

Re: True Heroes Apache

I have only the PTE Little Bird. It was not a hard job to dismount it and modify many areas. I think it would also be easy to custom this Apache to make it more realistic, perheaps with smaller pilots. BBI items are so well done that you don't need to make anything, but if you want to, it's really d...

Re: 1:18 Flags

I've made some very simple flags with white synthetic silk (like for old fashionned RC-planes) and colour silk pencils. Not suitable for complicated flags, but they really float in the wind. Had to put textile glue at the edges so the textile doesn't go to run. Made one green-white-black and black-w...

But BBI should have a look at skyworktoys: their pilots seems to be excellent (though they can't walk to their aircraft; resin sitting in the cokpit...)

Re: BBI F-16C Enduring Freedom

Is it such a good new, if it's only a repaint? I've been disapointed to find that my F-16 is 2 inches too long and same 2 inches too wide. So it's not 1:18, but between 1:17 and 1:16 though they say it's 1:18... A small detail? Perheaps, but when you put a F-18 side by side with the F-16 and want to...

Re: Micro RC vintage biplane! with Video!

I was more lucky than ram04, but had to spend many hours searching my bright red plane in a green field of growing potatoes. The wind blowed it away and it landed safely alone (I still have a heroic crash landing style), beeing nicely camouflaged under the green leaves roof... So, I got 2 lessons: w...

There is just ONE tree with a very wide field near my home and no wind yesterday. My 2nd son put MY parkzone plane into it... but we could bring it down with a 30 feet long bamboo assembly, and happily no trouble. Yes, definitively, I prefer flying far away from trees and admire your talent, flyboy_...

I've contacted the seller on eBay. He didn't tell me the overall length I've asked for, so it's not possible to calculate how long it has been shortened. He just told me it came from China.
