The SKU is 661732763917 (number under the barcode) the number above the barcode is #76391. The dimensions as best I can tell without opening the box (also the wing tips are not installed in the box so this is a guess of where they would end up = Length ~ 23" Wingspan ~ 20" I used the length from tip...

I'll try to get the measurements tomorrow as they are locked away right now so my son doesn't see them. It looks about the same scale as the PTE A-10 and F-18 - will post measurements tomorrow - the figure is 3 and 3/4" like regular 1/18 stuff but looks too big for the size of the plane.

New PTE/True Heroes F-22 Raptor not quite 1/18 at TRU

I was trolling TRU today and saw the new True Heroes (same as Power Team Elite??) F-22 Raptor. They had 4 on the shelf - all black. They are begging for a repaint like I did with the A-10. Will probably be a Christmas project. Anyone know of a place to get good decals I can scale up besides 2Bob's? ...

Found two Daisy June Corsairs at TRU in Chesterfield, MO. Didn't pick any up as I already have 2 of this version - thought about getting them to resell but looks like they are hitting shelves again - is that what anyone else is seeing?

I've gone to Shopkerenza.com and tried to purchase but when you ADD TO CART the CART page says at the top that Shopkerenza is not open for business. Then you cannot put any billing info into their page after loading it in the cart. So, I guess they are not selling anything right now. They have been ...

Idea for 1/18 SEAL RIB/Zodiac

If you've been looking for the PTE patrol boat and have pretty much given up, I was in TRU the other day and saw a Zodiac CZ7 Radio Control Boat that looked like it had "possibilities for conversion." It is pretty close to 1:18 scale if not actually 1:18. The CZ7 is the civilian version of the Zodia...

Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention, there were actually 3 of the Power Team elite A-10s at one location. I was tempted to buy them up to repaint and sell or just resell - I know lots of guys have been looking for them lately.

Was in 4 TRUs in the St. Louis area. They all had at least 3 most had around 6 of Spec. Ed. P-40s (seems like there are alot of these out). 1 store had a 21C Bunker Hill corsair and a BBI Daisy as well as one of the F-86, and a F-104 (Col George). There was a German WWI Mess. but I'm not into those ...

Some great stories. I know why all the Big Lots are always empty now. I'm pretty new to this as I got my son some 1:18 stuff for Christmas last year with all the Target discounts going on - just couldn't help myself. Now he and I are both addicted - too bad the Target discounts are long gone. In les...

Dauntless,
I saw three on the shelf at a TRU about 30 minutes from my house here in the St. Louis area 2 weeks ago. I think they were marked at $39. I know I got mine last year for $29.99. Don't know if they are still there or not.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't ordered from there before, but did yesterday. They sent an email confirmation but there is no charge on my Credit Card yet. Will keep an eye out for it. They were showing $12.50 shipping on the email confirmation.
I'll let people know how my order turns out.

Sales on 1/18 stuff

Michigan Toy Soldier is having 20% off on all their stuff right now for preferred members - just requires signing up for free. Use code 09242008 in the comments section when ordering. Their stuff is a little overpriced in general but the 20% off will make some of their inventory attractive. Boomingi...

aferguson, Thanks for the advice, if I ever redo a figure I'll know to use acrylics. Will probably just leave this one alone - and try to keep my 9 year old from playing with it - I have some of these big birds on his ceiling with a pulley system so he can lower them to play with. Most of my collect...

The PTE pilot really bothered me too as it was a really weird color. I repainted olive drab flight suit with a Silver and black helmet. It looks alot better, but I don't think I used the right paint as it still feels "sticky". Any suggestions on fixing that or doing it better next time. I've never r...

Tired of waiting on the 1/18 A-10.

So, I just got the PTE A-10 for about $29 and put about $40 of paint/decals/decalpaper etc.. and 12-14 hours of labor to get a decent representation. I know, the PTE is not really 1/18 but if you don't display it next to the Hornet or Falcon, it isn't that noticeable. Wish I was talented enough to c...
