Re: FOV
The schurzen are not only part of the diecast mold, but the underlying hull sides are non existant. If you look at the back of your panther, where the side plates are supposed to go under the schurzen there is nothing there. I was pretty disappointed when I too apart one of my FoV panthers and found...

Yes, unfortunately for you international folk a few bad apples have spoiled it for everyone. I sold a bunch a few years back and several international buyers tried to pull some stuff and luckily eBay ruled in my favor.

Re: FOV Panzer IV Repaint - Finishing a 5-Year-Old Project
I agree the S1 pz IV scheme, that they later re-released, is pretty bad. I have one I recently took apart as well and will be repurposing to into a Tunisia pz IV. Watching this closely to see how it turns out. Oh, and I can empathize with life getting in the way at times. I have a project I have bee...

working on some of the detail painting, but wanted to show you a dry fit of mostly everything. Side skirts are absent because they are just a hastle to deal with taking on and off. http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn185/Panzerarm/panther%20dry%20fit1_zpsi58ihhkm.jpg http://i304.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Custom 1/32 Panther ausf. D (WIP 4/23/17)
I hear you guys on the pain that road wheels can be. I finished these 2 nights ago, after about 3 hours of effort. Some of that was just taking breaks to give my eyes some rest before they went cross-eyed. An extra annoyance with these is they are overlapped and they are already affixed, which posed...

Re: Custom 1/32 Panther ausf. D (WIP 3/17/17)
Thanks for the kind words gents! I have put the first coat of XF-60 on it, but I think I cut it with too much white(was trying to get a light hue) and I over-did it a bit. I will probably just use some buff XF-57 next time instead. I am going to give the base coat another go soon, but I have nationa...
