Ditto on that. I'm looking for the old Military Campsite set as well as the old bridge set. Would love to find these.

Re: PTE Recons

Hi All-

Looks like Big Lots may be getting a few items. Visited a store today to find some Patrol Boats (new stock), some Mutts, Humvees, and 12" figures. I'm really hoping for more. Let's keep our fingers crossed for more Fall and Winter items.

Great figure posing - very realistic shots. I like the setting. Those US Marines are some of Ultimate Soldier's best figures.

Re: What is the best 1/18 WWII US Jeep??

Interesting topic guys. I own the Welly jeep and absolutely love it. The dirty version comes with a figure. I believe it is removable but not positive. I own the clean version. In fact, here's a few shots: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7316/9427501320_b2f02ddf0b_o.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5...

Operation Torch 1/18 Diorama

Hi fellas: Recently, I've gotten into 1/18th again with some re-releases of Forces of Valor Bravo Team figures. I revisited some of my old 1/18th scale items and I stumbled upon an image of a diorama I made a few years back. It's a combination of Ultimate Soldier/21st Century, Power Team Elite/World...

Re: PTE Recons

Hey Guys. In reading a few older PTE topics, one individual shared a thought that Europe gets PTE before the US market. Do any of you believe this to be true? I've seen a few sets (ie. Military Camp Site) on Ebay from the UK. Could these merely be old stock? I'm hoping for some re-released items thi...

Re: Bravo Team - Combat 1/18

Hey guys - thanks for the comments.

I believe the figures are re-releases of the Target collection. I purchased from a 2nd hand-seller, but in looking, I can't seem to find on the FoV web site. I think they are new.

The background is an 8 1/2 x 11 picture.

Bravo Team - Combat 1/18

Hi all- I recently picked up some new 1/18 US Infantry by Bravo Team and must say that the figures are very nicely done. I thought I'd try my hand at photographing with jeep and hayloft. Inspired by Combat, here's a few shots: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3666/9427084785_f89223b9eb_o.jpg http://far...

Re: Removing Stuka Wings

Hey guys - thanks much for the tips here. What brand are we talking here, Ultimate Soldier, BBI? Stumbled upon this topic by accident. I have not tried removing my Ultimate Soldier Desert Stuka wings in fear of breaking/snapping off part of the plastic assembly. http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6176/62...

Re: I Miss Ultimate Soldier!

Wow! Some really interesting views regarding the history and quality of Ultimate Soldier. Having got into the 1/18 hobby way late, I missed the quality issues that you guys mentioned, or am not aware of them. I also collect 1/32 scale and absolutely love the Ultimate Soldier "playsets". The figures ...

I Miss Ultimate Soldier!

Hi All: Over the weekend, I broke out some old Ultimate Soldier / 21st Century 1/18 scale figures. I really enjoyed their DAK collection, although they didn't offer many varieties. It got me thinking, what a great company! I really think they were the premier company for offering military scale coll...

Re: 1/32 Scale Afrika Korps

Thanks for answering that one Kevin. Absolutely! From what I heard, Oryon figures really bombed. They were originally around $60 per set of four. Designed in Italy and made in/hand painted in China. I purchased a set and really liked them. Now I have many but not all the WWII sets. I didn't buy the ...
