That's some collection there...!

Holy Guacamole, CPL Slade! You got your own private hobby shop! I also wonder how well they'll fare...it seems they are keeping the prices reasonable while offering significant upgrades to the older stuff...I don't see them showing up in Target or Wal-Mart, but what do I know...however, Walterson's ...

FOV rouses itself from slumber...!!! (I think)

I started this as a separate post back in the Spring when it appeared FOV was ready to announce multiple releases at any moment...was I ever wrong! I also anticipated a flurry of happy responses to this rebirth of 1/32...nope! Well, though no release dates are given, it now appears FOV is ready to s...

Re: 32nd BF110 finished- not professional but I'm happy

What manufacturer produced that kit? I take it it's not the old Revell model, I seem to remember that was sort of a clunky version typical of their early 1/32 releases....

Preposterous e-bay listing of the month: 1/48 P-51

Was $2500, a steal at the marked down price of $1250... Am I missing something here? This looks liking something you could pick up at Kay-Bee Toys back in the day... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Metal-Model-Airplane-Aircraft-1-Military-Fighter-US-Vintage-AirForce-32-USAF-48/292475284339?_trkparms=aid%3D...

Hey FOV, come out, come out, wherever you are...

About a month ago, The Motor Pool posted this on their site: "Coming up in April is the Beijing Hobby Show (April 20th-22nd) and, one week later, is the all-important Japanese Shizuoka Hobby Show (April 26th-28th). Last year, if you recall, Waltersons, the new owners of the Forces of Valor brand, sh...

Re: Anyone have a clue to this....

I'm guessing...a customized version of FOV's last and toyish-quality release of their aircraft that showed up in Target stores... I'm thinking that it's FOV 1/32 based on the 4 covered-over screw holes located 4 in a row on each side of the wing underside close to the fuselage... It's definitely cur...

Hobbico goes Chapter 11, here comes that sinking feeling...

Don't know how much it all means, but Hobbico (the largest U.S. distributor of hobby products, including Revell, Monogram, Italeri and Hasegawa) is in deep financial trouble and may not survive. Even if it does, this could mean higher prices on plastic models and other stuff coming down the road...s...

1 /32 FOV MIA

There's not much to go on, is there? I can't get too enthusiastic about them, mainly because the weapons look so clunky...I can only judge from pictures I've seen, but it seems like the Mars figures have actually declined slightly in quality with each release... I will be getting the TSSD Marines though, I wonder if any new releases fr...
