Re: New 1/18 Fw-190D
With my post, I was attempting to establish guidelines for when events like this happen in the future.
toyktdlgh, I respect that you and TTT are not attacking Jnewboy, nor is Jnewboy attacking either of you, but I wish that this will be resolved quickly as to avoid grudges amongst this community.

Jnewboy, TTT, and toyktdlgh, I can see where all of you are coming from, and here are my 2 cents. 1. If any member wants to write a post that provides a link to an ebay or other site that has a purpose of selling shall post it in the B/S/T forum 2. Should a member wish to display a model that is on ...

Sorry if I got your hopes up pickel, but my cousin picked it up today and is going to fix it for me.
I am so sorry that I won't be able to give it to you, but I appreciate that a fellow board member would be willing to help me out!
P.S. what were you going to do with it anyway?

Suggestions for a grave yard 251/1
Due to rough shipping, a 21c 1:18 251/1 (Number 13) arrived with a broken axel and a cracked windshield area. I stripped the MG mount off for use with my 251/7 and Stuka zu Fuss. Any one have any suggestions for what I can do with the rest? P.S. let me know if I should have posted this in the 1:18 f...

Does anyone know what the quality of Hooben tanks is like? If they're durable and if the treads work without all of the RC components, I am all game for this beauty!

Re: long grass in 1/18 scale?
Aferguson, look no further than static grass. My dad is big into trains, and has successfully used static electricity to create fields of grass. -Spray the surface with 70% alcohol and let it soak for a few minutes -Apply Woodland Scenics Scenic cement, a diluted matte medium that will affix the tur...

Re: What do you do with your 1:18?
Ok, next time I make a poll I will include an 'all of the above' choice. I have to admit, I thought that most people that bought 1:18 hid it in their closet to over-price on eBay in the years to come. It is great news to hear that you guys actually are enjoying these 'precision models for adult coll...

What do you do with your 1:18?
I personally make dioramas, and I have a feeling most people who have 1:18 items are just waiting to sell them instead of enjoying each piece.

This is not my area of expertise, but it involves a lot of planning, prototypes, time, and money.
Hope this helps!

Question about 1/6 figures
Hey, I know that this is a 1:18th scale forum, but SSMQ has the most friendly community so I hope you guys won't mind this deviation.
Are the 1/6 figures hands molded in on shape, or can the fingers be moved to suit any weapon?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Re: 1/18 Aircraft wish list? Just for fun.
I am not into planes as I am into choppers, and I find they can 'go together' with figures in a diorama rather than jets. My wish list: -MI-24D Hind -UH-1 Iroquois with optional M60s or M134s for the side gunners and rocket pods -MI-8 Hip And for something different, how about a 'battle damaged' var...

Come back of 1:18?
I just checked out Foxhole toys, and there are quite a few 1:18 items listed as 'pre-order'. Does this mean that these are new products being released, or...?
