My second Horton 229 (1:48 Dragon Kit)

This time it's a Day Fighter. I scored this retire kit off evil bay for a ok price. Well after 3 weeks of working on it ( couple hours a day), I finally completed it. It was a challenging kit to build but in the end it was worth it. I decided to go with a green olive drab painting to some how match ...

Re: Forces of Valor maybe pricing themselves out of the mark

As a result of FOV's prices increasing, all the time, I am now taking closer looks at older '1/32' offerings that I considered pricey at the time but now not so much.... I acknowledge these other pieces don't have the detail FOV has but there are pieces, if you can still find them, that FOV and 21s...

Re: Forces of Valor maybe pricing themselves out of the mark

Despite increase prices FoV are still the best bang for the bucks compare to other 1:30 scale manufacturers. Their 1:32 armors still have excellent details and with a little bit of weathering, they look pretty good like scale model plastic kits that takes hours to build up. I don't own any of their ...

Re: First Legion 1:30 ww2 figures

I don't disagree, but are you able and ready to spend a fortune? If you are and you can, wonderful. My hat, sincerely, is off to you.. I don't have deep pocket but as I stated earlier the key here is slowly getting them. Sometimes I buy two or three figures a month or just a tank/month. The thing i...

Re: First Legion 1:30 ww2 figures

They are great but at $75 a piece, I'm sorry, too expensive. Now K&C have a line of 1/30 soldiers that matches the price and paint job of FL. Both are truly fantastic but I like to buy doubles, sometimes triples of the same figure. It's cost prohibitive. I also collect K&C figures and armors and so...

First Legion 1:30 ww2 figures

First Legion makes excellent figures in true 1:30 scale. I only collect ww2 and will be slowly stocking up their figures as they are on the expensive side but very very worth it. http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y436/cnq007/1-30%20scale%20ww2%20collections/DSC_85880001_zps2019c90c.jpg http://i127...

My new build 349D Natter late ww2 German Jet

This is Dragon kit in 1:48. I spent more time working on the launch tower than building the plane. Hope you like the pictures. http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y436/cnq007/Built%20Model%20Planes/0050001_4_zps98827346.jpg http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y436/cnq007/Built%20Model%20Planes/00200...

Flying bomb

My new flying bomb (1:30) with Hanna ( pilot) along with the HE162 Salamander (1:32) late war jet fighter. The flying bomb and figures are from Thomas Gunn and only 100 are made. They are currently sold out. http://i1274.photobucket.com/albums/y436/cnq007/1-30%20scale%20ww2%20collections/0050001_3_z...

Re: New Horton HO229B Night Fighter

Nice work. 8) Wish someone would offer the HO-229 pre-made pre-painted die cast 1:144 or 1:72. Thanks. There is a pre-made one (desk top display with stand) made from mahogany wood from this site. They don't say what scale it is though. http://www.modelbuffs.com/index.php?page=final&cat=jet&id=2329...

New Horton HO229B Night Fighter

Just finished this Night Fighter HO229B from Dragon 1:48 Kit. This kit is not very good as the nose, fuselarge, and wings don't fit very well and require lot of putty and sanding I managed to get it done to a reasonable result but not quite happy with it. Any way at least I've added another rare pla...

Thanks for the comment guys. This is my first Russian attack plane. I still have modern Su 25 Frog foot to build next. I love Russian military hardware and think they look very cool.
