Interesting :) So now we have three schemes for the Blackhawk and two for the Apache. I think I get what you are saying about the color for the new Blackhawk, Morain. Is it sort of like the second-issue AH-6? Taking a look at SSHQDB, it looked the color of the darker green on the Series 1 Pavehawk.

The same Target I saw the "green" blackhawk at had six Apaches the other day with a Tiger-teeth scheme. Is this a different paint scheme as well?

FYI, the green was a flat version of the green on the "post a reply" bar on this site. At least that was the way it looked to me.

I'm sure this has already been posted - spotted a bright green Blackhawk at Target today. Definitely a different paint scheme that the original Target run. Just didn't look right.

Yeah, what is this "snow" crap? Why can't we do a North Africa winter scene? I guess I'll have to break out the dehydrated potato flakes and create some of that white stuff. Look ---The SNOW CRAP as you put it is a rule---I posted that yall can use FAKE snow too!!! It only snows about 1 day per 10 ...

Little early morning sarcasm. Based on those figures, its looks like some knockoff you'd find at one of the Dollar stores.

Okay, I know I'm wierd, but I like the Cobra trooper WAY more than the Cobra officer, and I can't figure out why. I don't know if its the black accents, the different harness, or the slight mod to the helmet, but something makes this figure look way better. Kinda ticked I didn't buy all 5 when I fir...

Love it. Most numerous in my arsenal. For some reason, it just looks like a good ol' generic tank to me - kinda like the ones that used to come with green army men (BTW - anyone know what tank the green army men tank is based on?)

Fortunately, I don't think we have any variant hunters around here  . However, I'm noticing the FOV figures showing up on the pegs now have a big red "Target Exclusive" either printed or a sticker on the card.

They're in the trees......hiding....... Okay, when I visit a TRU next time I'll look for the US figures in the Action Figure aisle. And I will take a look if there are any trees near the TRU building to look for the Charlie figures. There's a bunch of oleanders around my closest TRU. Next t...

Just curious, has anyone found the black Vietnam soldier. Reading through the posts, I see people saying they've found the 3. I'm wondering if TRU isn't getting all 4 that were shown.

All of those vehicles on that one page are absolutely, incredibly, a**-ugly. I LOVE THEM!!!!

Man, one of those would be righteous in 1/18, because of all the sci-fi conversion potential. Especially, that big nasty-looking Krupp's truck. Nice, very nice.

Don't forget to check the ever-popular evil-Bay. Mine showed up today. I'm surprised the other companies don't do missiles as a starting point to get into a new scale. You're looking at a part count similar to what you'd have to do for a figure pack-in. Anyways, not too bad. The rear stabilizer has ...

But really, can you have it both ways? In one sentence you're saying glue in the removable clips (a feature I love personally, as an adult collector who enjoys "features" on his toys), but at the same time you're saying you should cut back on articulation on some toys (a feature that, as an adult c...

Ugh, I wish the toy manufs. would get rid of the removeable clips. Especially Marauder. For 1/18, they don't add that much, and I just end up gluing them in place. I feel bad for any little kids playing with these with no access to crazy glue. As for the added articulation, I think the manufacturer'...

Anyone else prefer the older 21C figs?

I came across the Vietnam figures at TRU today. I picked them up, looked at them for a moment, then just put them back. Its the same thing that I went through with the DAK figures when I first saw them. As great as the accessories you get and articulation are now, I find myself preferring the older ...
