Re: Beginnings of my 1:144 aircraft fleet

I think the Old Crow P-51 is a regular issue in the Select Vol 1. This almost like a "best of" series with the P-51, F-86, F-4, F-14, Bf 109, Fw 190 and some others.
I have the yellow tailed special also. Did some checking, it is from the 5th FS, 52nd FG, Madna Italy, 1944

F-toys had a Ju-87 in Wings Kit Vol 4. Cafereo had A Ju-87 in the Dive Bomber Series. Dragon Can.Do had arelease of 6 plus the Special. I have an extra set of the Can.Do if anyone is interested

There have been a couple threads on these. The Red Tail Mustang came out about a year ago. Over the summer there was an Me109 and this past fall a P-40. Distribution seemed to be very spotty

Re: Beginnings of my 1:144 aircraft fleet

Quite a hall there jlspec. Don't have many of those except the Mariner and Coronado. A lot of good IXO/ Altaya across the pond if you can get a deal on shipping. Are you relatively new to the 1:144 scale like me? How do you like that Nell? I almost want both the new F-Toys in green and an IXO/ Alta...

I recieved my shipment from England today. Added the Altaya G3M Nell, Ki-49 Helen, and DeAgostini Ki-21 Sally. The Sally was much nicer than I expected after all the negatives about DeAgostini. These are added to my other diecast acquisitions this year. Altaya PBM mariner, Amercom PBY Catalina, PB2Y...

Mine did arrive on Tuesday. Have not assembled it yet but did open th box to inspect it. I really like the new packaging and the plane itself was extremely well done. I like the S1 Jolly rogers scheme better but the finish and quality on the S2 is every bit as good.

I can't remember the name of the product, but it's a purple engine cleaner degreaser you can get at Walmart. Is it Castrol degreaser? It's a purple fluid. Re: All Go 1/32 Planes at Tuesday Morning

I think the low discount is more result of the duplications of the schemes. If new schemes were issued I think the scale would still be popular.
