Re: 1/16 tanks

HL panzer III is super, you buy any 1/16 make sure you get a mk III for your collection.

Eagerly awaiting the next low cost 1/16 vehicle.

I like the tank and armor vehicles, 1/16 because of the R/C, Tamiya's existing lineup and size, plus many new items over the last few years, and 1/18 as that scale goes with the Star War figures and tons of 1/18 diecast vehicles.

Everything is going up, the 1/18 diecast cars have gone up 25% or more. Wendy's double combo large size plus a med Frosty is almost 10 bucks. Just a few months ago it was around 8 bucks.

hey just had a idea, was there any urge to do 1/18 aircraft engines so that these upcoming kits can have detail? The builder could cut open engine access panels and have a nice engine in there.

or detail kits, like ammo bays etc... or how about folded wing ribbing for the avengers when folded, etc...

diecast cars prices have gone up. Autoart stuff a few years ago was around the 65-75 dollar range, now it's around 100-115 range. Think of the jeep as a two for one. For those who remark about scale accuracy, some things just can't be done cheapy in a small scale, mass produced item. Schuco items ha...

this post left me wondering about a pilot figure for my chopper. It was one of the first 21c items I bought and I threw away the box :(

I didn't remember seeing a pilot, but there he was still tie wrapped in his seat with what looks like a molded on helmit.

maybe I take'll some pics.

That's good for business! In today's world you need a website, it doesn't have to be fancy: a name, business description and contact info.

Any P-39 needs to have a opening door, at least one side removeable engine access to view engine and a opening gun compartment showing the guns. Those are the unique features. I don't buy $200 diecast cars with no opening doors/hoods/trunks. As for price, how many Ki-61 Tonys were sold at $750 vs Me...

Mine is already made, I just can't afford it on a new job's 12 bucks an hour. Been out of work for almost a year here in Florida. Old job was 20 bucks an hour and still would be iffy about $750. interesting, I've only bought 1 "custom" plane, the Me 163. I'd have to be employed before I send out big bucks.

Side note: Only one plane ever really looked great with the sharknose/teeth artwork and that was the P-40B. The rest look dorky. JMO

I collect a lot of 1/18 diecast cars, I know of no one that offers a warranty or spare parts, some of these cars are $250 or more. Exoto are almost $400 now. I haven't bought any at that price. I don't have kids or pets either and have not needed any spares. My Revell 914 came in with wheels off, bu...

Talk about mis-management! And totally dis-connected from their customer base. Did JSI not get the message? The first F-14 had everybody screaming murder and the second is a dubious paint scheme from a current terrorist nation. You think JSI had to pay for the rights? So any Iranian scheme bought se...
