Well, he's technically not building it. He's making a Chinese company build it for him. :D

The details of that Abrams is horrendous, but I might overlook that, considering how awesome it looks on the move!

Re: What Sucks?

Tamiya Spray paints. I tried to use them when I repainted one of my Hornts to VFA-15 and the paints crackle. uckily I was able to remove the paint with VMP Naptha without damaging the plastic. Long live Model Masters Paints! Let me guess. You didn't use a primer coat. Or you used an Tamiya acrylic ...

Ever thought of making the new air conditioner on the Abrams? Those APUs have been phased out.

There's no definitive price for the Hooben's T-55 yet. They seem to be botching the T-55 release, as they are selling them to individual customers, yet they give different prices to different people, AND sometimes, they will change the quote they gave you. I don't think they're doing it on purpose, ...

What I am getting tired of hearing is the whole, we will never see WM prices again and how spoiled we were during that time. I know that is true, but it also doesn't help having people constantly saying we should expect to pay $100 for a repaint and be happy that it is even available at that price....

The word "fair" seems so odd in the business world. Especially when talking about non-vital commodities like toys. They're not making toys for our benefit. They're not making toys because tehy're Santa Claus and all of us have been good little boys and girls. They're making toys for profit. Nothing ...

Not really. Since when is $100 for a LE product such a mind-boggling price? We were looking at the end of the 1/18 scale a few months back (not counting the customizers), with the death of 21c and Admiral Toys, and the hibernation of Bluebox Toys. And now that we're seeing a little light a head of t...

Count me in for one. I don't have an OD Mustang yet anyway.

And if money's so tight in your life that you'd be complaining about the price of a $100 repaint toy instead of $65-$70, maybe you shouldn't purchase a toy at all, and instead save your money for family needs.

(Slightly) Detailing the HL Jagdpanther

Using left-over PE from my KT and Panther builds, I decided to put little details on my HL Jagdpanther. I couldn't decide which scheme to create, so I decided to model one of the last Jagdpanthers built. This was the 7 Jagdpanthers commandeered by Kampfgruppe Wiking on April 7th, 1945 directly from ...

Panel lines are a must, especially on a large-scale aircraft model. It will just look silly without it. Even 21st oldest models have them, albeit simplified. Heck, even toyish PTE planes have panel lines. I am not talking about the actual panel lines themselves. I am talking about accentuating them...
