Aircraft

1. Aichi D3A1 "Val" (Pearl Harbor)
2. F4F Wildcat (An FM-2 could work also. It would be a nice companion to the Atlantic Avenger)
3. Lavochkin La-7

Walked up to my local Zellers* today, and found a large assortment of FOV 1/72 scale armor. With the exception of the Bradley and T-72, the whole orginal set was there. I picked up a Churchill and an Abrams, and I might go back some other time to get another Tiger II (The one I had before threw a tr...

I caught that commercial on tv a while back. That looks real nice, is the scale true? Can't beat 20 bucks, thanks for bringing this to our attention. 8) I might get the truck by itself. I put both vehicles beside a couple of my 32X planes and my GPA Amphibian, and they look like the right scale (Al...

1941 Chevy Flatbed with Jeep (1/32nd)

Lookee what I got: http://www.motormint.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1436 I'm sure some of you have seen this advertised along with other civilian vehicles on TV. Quite a unique piece IMO. Currently I got it nestled in between my Corsair, Folgore, and my Forces of Valor GPA Amphibian.

Agree... this would be an important addition for collectors. In actual use, the Russians were less than ecstatic about the Lee, which was basically obsolete by the time we started shipping them to the Soviet Union. They were however, VERY fond of Spam.  I remember reading somewhere that ...

Give me a damn Churchill already. I must have one of those beasts in all its enthusiast series glory! A Cromwell would rock as well. A Churchill would probably look incredible in 1/32nd. Plus the numerous modifications (Crocodile, AVRE, Black Prince, etc...) would make for interesting models. I for...

If (And I emphasize if) they ever come out with a Hurricane, I hope the people behind FOV learn their lesson with the Spitfire Mk IX and tone down the rivet overkill as well as make control surfaces that fit better.

I just got the perfect dio idea: those two German soldiers doing their stuff by some trees, while across the way a bunch of American soldiers (quite possibly supported by a tank or two) wait in ambush to catch them in a particularly embarassing moment  I like it. Or even better, just use the l...

Yeah I think the Stuka was worth the $28 just for the unique markings. The Folgore I wasn't to happy with. It's an older model and it lacks the refinements of the newer models, so that was no big suprise. Tha landing gear suck, I decided to just leave them retracted and I have it hanging where it l...

It reminds me of that film "Aces: Iron Eagle III" with Lou Gossett Jr. They had a P-51B dolled up to look like a Bf-109.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220154801533&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012 This could be interesting for an in-flight refueling plane, if you can overlook the fact it just has two engines. About 1/28 scale (going by kc-135 dimensions), so quite underscale but still a big pl...

I've been wanting a Folgore but I thought I would sell the Stuka. Once it was out of the box however I fell in love and it is now hang...
