Re: so many talented guys with projects
I am just doing these for myself. i have no intention on selling or competing. The future is customs and creations for us at this stage. It has been for a while. Pickel has been a big driving force along with others. Without it there is not much left except RC. I am open to some reasonable challenge...

3d Print Project
I got a 3d printer (CR-10s) recently. I wanted to add some unique items to my collection and dioramas. I have amassed many files since than as well. I am in the process of completing a Stug, Kettenkraftrad, pantherturm, and various smaller items (dragons teeth, hedgehogs, etc.). pantherturm - primin...

I have seen molds of them and other 1/18 WW2 head gear on Ebay in the past but nothing currently. Maybe just check accessory lots that pop up. You may get lucky.

Deep shelves mostly. Ran out of space for planes so I have the majority hanging from my ceiling.

Re: Found at 2nd hand shop
I always check GWs and others when I have time. I don't often find much 1/18 but every once in a while I do. It is hard to justify online prices. I got a U.S. and German half-track, Sherman and tiger, 1/18 Harley motorcycle and kubelwagen, misc plane parts and a full corsair, plus about a dozen figu...

Re: 1/18 3D Printing
My friend is trying to print a 1/18 stug currently. He is doing it mostly to see if he can do it. a small test print went well. The 1/18 will be in about 9 parts or so. The size is causing a delay. Hopefully it works out.

Re: Lots of new members! June 2017...
I have been lurking here and there but only registered on JoeDios a few years ago. My diorama pics have gotten better since then. I wanted to get better on customizing at the level I see here. I am almost ready to start some projects. The best I could manage so far with the cost of 1/18 is paper mod...

Re: Where is everyone?
I am a very recent member that has been visiting off and on for a while checking out all the amazing custom jobs to get ideas for some customizing I want to start doing myself. I am just about done getting some extra 1/18 to experiment with from a local collector that is phasing out his collections.
