In regards to the Franklin Mint 1:48 F-14.This was one of the first diecast planes that I bought, about 4 years ago. Not a bad model, and I was impressed with the size,as I had not yet got into 1:18. The only issues I have with it are that the wings are not variable, but I was not expecting them to be....

These are significant complaints against Skyworks,by dedicated, and long time board members here.If Coreyeagle and Picklehaub are complaining,I think we should listen. What seems to be the most troubling is the fact that a soon as there is a problem, the lines of communication seem to close. As has be...

As an ex modeller,I find the diecast to be excellent value. Some are better than others. I do not have any of my old equipment any more,or the room to set up an airb...

Yes they certainly are expensive right now.The prices for both the F-18,and F-16 have probably doubled this last year.I was fortunate enough to get mine before they really took off.No pun intended. The versions available are, with what I have in brackets, Golden Dragons[2] Red Devils[5] Jolly Rogers[...

RAAF F-18

I bought another version of the RAAF F-18 from this seller about a year ago.He has a really good collection of F-18's and F-16's. He did give me the first crack at this about a week ago,but it was just too much money.I might regret this decision later on,but I just couldn't justify spending that muc...

1:48 Franklin Mint CF-18

A Canadian dealer has just got a batch of the brand new release 1:48 scale CF-18,done by Franklin Mint. This is an extremely limited release, with just 200 units of each of two squadrons. One based in Cold Lake, the other in Bagottville,Quebec. I got another CF-18,about four years ago, also done by Frank...

Does anybody make a good 1:32 F-15?

Does anyone know of any manufacturers that do a 1:32 F-15,or F-14?
I have them in 1:48,Franklin Mint.Not bad,but not great.
Never going to happen in 1:18,so 1:32 is the next best choice.
Anybody have any info?

Favourite model in you collection

Here's a tough question. What is your absolute favourite model in your collection?Any scale, any companyAircraft, armour figures, whatever. Should be a mixed bag of responses to this one. I am going with my BBI 1:18 F-18,"Red Devils"version. The model is Large, detailed and well painted.I have other F-1...

BBI masterpiece model

What would you consider to be the best model that BBI has produced so far? Hopefully, with the "demise"of 21C,BBI will fill some of that void. For myself,I am voting for the 1:18 F-18 "Red Devils".Not the rarest, but the best looking one in my opinion, and my personal favourite. F-16 Air National Guard...

The P-38,Haleakala in particular. All the versions are BIG,and impressive, with good detailing. They certainly grab your attention.and have decent detailing. After reading all the great reviews, and posts regarding Airstrike,I am really looking forward to the RAF Corsair that I have on order. Can anyone give me some info about Airstrike toys?
I have seen them referred to in some posts. They seem to specialize in F-6 Hellcat, but I just ordered a RAF Corsair.
Looks great,and I will give a review,when I receive it.
These guys might be the "repaint genies"

Yeah, I was just bidding on a Pudgy, and I might have been bidding against the member on the last response. He won,and I hope he enjoys the plane. I still need one. Got mine about 6 months ago, when they were first released.Very nice paint, cockpit detailing and overall quality.Good weight to it also. How would yo rate the CW F-14?As I said I just got my A-7 CorsairII,and it is pretty nice.I would consider picking up some more aircraft from CW,but with the 1:72 scale it would have to be an aircraft that nobody else makes in a larger scale. The A-6 Intruder comes to mind. I do not have any Dragon ...
