what about rubbing the spots with really fine grain wet and dry sand paper? That may fade them a bit, blur them into the surrounding paint, cause the light grey underneath to bleed through a bit and make them look more like weathering and less like dots painted all over the plane. It isn't fair to compare the Joes and Bbi. Joes never claimed to be pure modern military figures.

Bbi is your best bet, even though Joes beat them in the articulation department. ;)

And now that i think about it, i much prefer tampo printing to decals, so maybe i don't want to DIY it after all.

The III, IV and Seafox were all in service before DS, and could have influenced the Moray, and subsequently the Chap Mei.

If i hazard a guess, i'd say it's partially inspired by the MK-III/IV and Seafox boats.

Could be anything, though.

I can live with one big jet per year - that way I can save up for it  The F-14 will certainly take up space and I'm not sure whether I should get the Flanker if it becomes a reality... Then again, my F-14 is going to need to get shot down by something besides my BBI Zero :P Fixed that for you...

They would come out at the same general time frame as the Tomcat this year, only next year.

Just worry about the F-14 The Flanker is a ways off.
